Taking the Christian Message to Everyone Always

fatherforgivethemTo take the message of the Gospel out to all the world is the most urgent agenda in God’s heart.  And it was, and is, the most urgent matter in the mind of The LORD Jesus Christ when He allowed His enemies to nail Him to that Cross.  He even wanted those driving those stakes into his hands and feet to be saved from the torments of hell, praying, as He was dying: “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do (Luke 23: 34).” And it didn’t change after His resurrection.

Salvation for every man, woman and child on the face of the earth is the utmost crucial goal and purpose of God The Father, God The Son, and God The Holy Spirit. Thus, when believers ask God to prosper them, each one should consider if his or her goal is the same as God’s.

But you say doesn’t God want His children to prosper regardless of these considerations? Yes, of course, He wants His children to prosper, but that is to enable that prosperity to advance God’s Kingdom and its most important message:  “For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3: 16).” That last pronoun ‘Him” refers back to the last noun phrase, “His Only Begotten Son.”

That is the Christian message God wants going out into all the world–not the greatness of some other pastor, politician or otherwise rich man–God prospers believers so that they can be His instruments to get out the message about His Son.

Thus the job incumbent upon all true Christians is to take the Gospel message of Jesus out into all  the world.  This is called witnessing—that is the job of every believer who wants to prosper God’s way.  And just going to church is  not a substitute for the job of witnessing about Jesus out in the world in every way possible.

As a matter of fact, Church is suppose to be a time and place where Christians come together for worshipcome-together-to-worship and invigorating spiritual strength  in order for believers to go out into the world and witness for Jesus in the coming week—witnessing for and about Jesus on their jobs, in their neighborhoods and around the world.  Church was never suppose to be a substitute for witnessing.

But nowadays, just going to church has become the beginning and end-all of witnessing about The LORD Jesus Christ. Such neglect is the work of Satan and his anti-Christ.  Remember that term anti-Christ has two meanings: 1) It can mean anti or against The LORD Jesus Christ; but 2) It can also mean like Christ, or a substitute for Christ.

This substitute figure then becomes a hinderer or obstruction to the true work of Jesus, because it talks somewhat as if it were really Him. But just almost.  And that substitute surely seldom, if ever, does works such as physical healings and deliverances from demon powers as He did.

And increasingly in the last three or four decades, even so-called ‘Christian music’ generally eliminates The Name of Jesus altogether. Oh such music labeled Christian, may use the term “ Lord”, but not include The Name Jesus.

I believe it was the Beatles or at least some group like them had a famous song, “My Sweet Lord” with lyrics including: “I really want to know him,: and “I really want to see him.” Many Christians ignorantly sang it.

But it turns out that the group was lauding Hari Chrisna, or Lord Krishna, who is a pagan Hindu god in India and other nations.

This group was not singing about Jesus at all.  And unless 21st century musicians start using The Name of Jesus in their lyrics, one has absolutely no idea which god they sing about—even if the song is heard on a ‘Christian’ station.

This explains how one nation—i.e. the United States—can have so many churches, Christian-named: publishing companies, bookstores, radio stations, etc.—and at the same time have so much sin, so little true revival, and mammoth numbers of hospitals, doctors and mental institutions attempting to substitute for the true works of The LORD Jesus Christ, which should be performed by those claiming to be His true pastors, teachers, bishops, etc.

The question is: how long will true Christians fall for this ‘flem-flam’, as if there is no hope. If these anti-Christs have truly won, let us pray with Apostle John that the true LORD Jesus would come quickly: “He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen.  Even so come, LORD Jesus (Revelation 22: 20).”

Of course, few of us are ready for Him to come. At least not right now. But we are running out of time.  It is incumbent upon all true believers to repent, to open up those wholesale Christian Bibles and get in line with God’s plan for these last days.
