anti-christian fictionThere are lots of people out there that will challenge your beliefs, and you need to be ready for it when it happens. Basically, if you hold Christian beliefs dear, it’s best to have a working knowledge of non-Christian beliefs. That way, you can have a better understanding of the beliefs that will step up and challenge you. Not to mention, it’s always interesting to read books from different perspectives than your own.

For me, The Plumed Serpent is a work that comes to mind, as it reflects the ancient Aztec religion. The serpent is actually the Aztec god Quetzalcoatl. It’s a book that’s very well-known and is considered a classic. It’s a piece of anti-Christian fiction that really sticks out to me. It has a lot of political overtones and is a very opinionated work by D. H. Lawrence.

So when I read books, I read all kinds of books. Although I have Christian beliefs, I don’t just stick to Christian works. It’s best to have an open mind and read about all sorts of things. You don’t have to agree with everything you read, of course. It’s all about getting different views and opinions from different types of people.
