Doomsday Realities: Robot Doctors––Warnings of the Beast, Pt 2

Surgeon_at_console_nures_at_patient_cart Speaking of robots, have you heard that hospitals now have robots doing surgical operations on their patients?  More insanity!  No, seriously!  geekologie. com says NASA is even testing remote-controlled robot surgery for use in space:

“With the possibility of human injury on future Lunar and Martian outposts, NASA is hoping that the use of surgical robots and ‘telemedicine’ will delay the need for medical doctor astronauts.” Maybe they’re thinking of that ‘Star Trek’ film where robot doctors and robot nurses delivered a baby.

But it is not only in looney outer-space or Hollywood films where robots take over the medical field.  It is on earth now in hospital surgery rooms.  And some consider the entrance of these machines as surgeons extremely dangerous.

Dr. Bert Vorstman asks ‘Why Should the After Effects of Some Cancer Treatments Be Worse Than the Disease Itself?’ He writes “there is little scientific evidence” for the value of robotics in prostate cancer treatment.  He says hospitals use ‘minimally invasive’ language to advertise robotic prostate cancer treatment.

A law firm specializing in robot operations writes: “Although lawsuits and scientific research have uncovered a number of potential hazards linked to the ‘da Vinci’ surgical robot, hospitals continue to advertise robotic surgery strongly.

“Critics charge that, by failing to mention the risks of complications from robotic surgery, hospital advertising is da Vinci treatment for urologic conditions-poster ‘misleading to outright dishonest.’  The injuries that can follow from a malfunctioning da Vinci surgical robot can be extreme and life-threatening.”

Why, rather than adequately educating more of America’s youth to become doctors, surgeons and nurses would this nation prefer to let multi-billion corporations build and sell robots for outrageously high prices to do doctors’ work?

The National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering even brag:
‘’Robot maggots’ Could Perform Future Brain Surgery:’  “NIBIB-funded scientists and engineers are teaming up with neurosurgeons to develop technologies that enable less invasive, image-guided removal of hard-to-reach brain tumors.”

Woe unto those who trust in doctors and hospitals alone for their healings.  In these last days, it is time to return to Almighty God with one’s whole heart and soul and look to Him for healing, health and happiness.

In Numbers, chapter 21, as deadly snakes attacked people, Moses lifted up a pole with a symbolic snake, and told the people to look at the symbol to be healed.  During His earthly ministry, The LORD Jesus says in Bible Historical Books:

“And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must The Son of Man be lifted up:  That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life (John 3: 14 – 15).”  Today medical associations still use that symbol of the serpent on a pole to indicate that they do the work of Christ. But for too many, faith in The LORD Jesus Christ is replaced with faith in dead machines––robots.
