happy-thanksgiving-2014-images-2 (2)    Despite the fact that the world seems to be coming apart at the seams, conscious Americans have much to be grateful for this Thanksgiving season––mainly that God in His providence managed to keep the U.S. and other nations out of World War III.

Specifically, we should rejoice before God that Russia did not shoot down any more planes over Ukraine or over any of the other nations over which its President Putin has commanded his jets to fly, often without stealth hiding.

These flights so frighten nations in Eastern Europe that several of them are planning for joint arm purchases and exercises.  Moreover, even Finland, which managed to stay out of war against Hitler or join the Nazi regime, now seeks to join NATO and the U.S. for protection against Russia.

Also, we should express thanksgiving that ISIS has not started its longed for World War as yet, or developed nuclear energy for bombs, or taken the capitals of Iraq and Syria, although these goals are definitely in their reach.

As Americans who pray God to grant wisdom and understand to the President, his cabinet, each of the 50 governors and their state assemblies, we also praise God for this nation’s leadership in organizing countries around the world to fight ISIS, and to condemn that devilish organization for its attacks on Christians, moderate Muslims and those of other faiths.

And Praise God that recently announced troop additions to Afghanistan does not mean another war there––yet. And pray it does not start in that battle-weary country at all. Because the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, etc. is likewise battle-weary, this Thanksgiving Christians must pray for peace!

And Praise God that the spread of Ebola in the United States has not occurred — if the government is telling the truth.  Thank-You-GodAnd that no other plagues have come to U.S.–– yet! As those diseases start in the spirit world, it is the prayers of saints that protect the nation!

Be thankful that knowledgeable Christians around the world are standing in prayer against the beginning of WW3 so that billions have time to repent and come to God!  The world still needs one more world-wide revival — one so strong that men lean upon lamp posts begging to be saved as in the 17th and 18th centuries.

Remember to pray that God sends evil, death and war back into far away shadows, as people repent and come to Him.  As Bible historical books explain:  It is God “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2: 4).”
