Nazism’s Roots of Ancient Evil: Occult Underpinnings of Hitler’s Reich

One must understand that Hitler’s holocaust did not stem from political or financial ideologies––although Nazis profited from these. Rather, Hitler’s hatred of Jews and all non-Aryan races sprang from medieval, and ancient occult religions.

Occultism in Germany, and often in Europe as a whole, goes back to such historical myths as the Knights Templar, The Holy Grail, Jewish midrashes, Ancient Nordic Viking paganism  (i.e. Odinists), etc.  Nicholas Goodrick-Clarke covers these strains in his seminal work:  ‘The Occult Roots of Nazism.’

A 19th century Austrian monk, Lanz von Liebenfels in: ‘Theozoology, or the Science of the Sodomite Apelings and the Divine Electron,’ posits that Jews, and other non-Aryans, are lower/sub-hman races born of apes that seduced Aryan women, producing semi-humans with large behinds, hidden tails, and animal-like skin––and savage animal morals––thereby defiling Aryan blood.

While it may have been slightly muted, the same kind of ‘theology’ was preached in German churches for centuries, usually under twists of Scripture which ended with assumptions that Aryans were God’s chosen people, and those of inferior races cannot be redeemed from curses of rejection and eternal damnation.

Sometimes in centuries-old myths, the pure Aryan woman is Eve who is seduced by the devil, and produces satanic offspring that multiply through generations.  At other times in witchcraft sagas, a dark-skinned woman named Lilith takes Adam away from Eve, and likewise produces evil offspring.

Although Hitler came under massive influence from the Thule Society (to be covered in later blogs), he also studied mystical connections with realms of evil through such channels as:  Baron Rudolf von Sebottendorf (student of Freemasonry, occult Muslim); Lucy Dawidowicz; Edward Bulwer-Lytton (author of ‘The Coming Race,’ giving adepts instructions on obtaining world rule), and an endless list of satanists, nature worshippers (i.e. moon, sun, trees), readers, witches, warlocks, and other hidden worshippers who met secretly in various unholy sites.

The ‘roots’ that produced the tree of Nazism Goodrick-Clarke exposes provide the occult mysticisms that were the spiritual fulcrums behind Hitler’s Nazi era.  They are likewise the spiritual powers and guides in the present neo-Nazi movements.  Thus, neo-Nazis sport symbols of ancient Celtic, neo-völkisch movements, Esoteric Hitlerism, Socialisti Satanism, neo-Druid practice, etc.

Whatever the terminology, such ancient and present occult worship is absolutely at odds with true Christianity.  As Apostle James says in Bible historical books, a Holy God cannot be yoked with damnable evil:

“Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh (3: 11-12).”  Yet many confessed Christians attempt to meld the two, or are they just providing cover for their hidden rituals of evil?
