Signs of the Times: Still Don’t Believe in Big Foot, Yetis, et al?

Warning-Sasquatch-Sighted        How can people who say they believe history, reject overwhelming historical evidence and testimony about creatures known as Big Foot, Yeti, Sasquash, etc.?
Think for a minute!  How is it possible that witnesses in different places around the globe in different decades and centuries could all be lying about the same thing?

Check out’s site which––among other evidence––lists 27 sightings of yetis or yeti footprints between 1832 and 1998.  In 1832 “B.H. Hodson, the U.K. representative in Nepal, described a hirsute creature who reportedly had attacked his servants. The natives called the beast ‘rakshas,’ which means ‘demon.’ This was the first report of the Yeti made by a Westerner.”

So why would Mr. Hodson lie? In 1913: “A group of Chinese hunters reportedly wounded and captured a hairy man-like creature, that the locals soon named the ‘snowman’. This creature was supposedly kept captive in Patang at Sinkiang province for . . . five months until it died. It [had] a black monkey-like face and large body covered with silvery yellow hair several inches long; it’s hands and feet were man-like and the creature was incredibly strong.”

And if you think the hunters told ‘tall fish stories,’ what about villagers and recorders at Patang?  Most of us have never seen China, but we believe or know it exists because we believe others who have been there. Then can you believe this?

What if it is a British military officer giving the testimony? “Members of a British expedition (led by Col. Howard-Bury) climbing the north face of Mount Everest sighted some dark figures moving around on a snowfield above them. When the explorers reached the spot, at some 17,500 feet, the creatures were not there but had left behind some huge, humanlike footprints in the snow.”

What about witnesses in the good old U.S.A. where places like Sky Valley, Washington, put in Bigfoot Crossing Bigfoot-SignsSigns? And then there is “Dr. Melba Ketchum, who has led the group of researchers called the Sasquatch Genome Project, has been working on a $500,000 analysis of DNA samples from an unknown hominid species.” She told Kevin Dolak of ABC News:

“They’re a type of people, they’re a human-hybrid, we believe. And all of the DNA evidence points to that. And they can elude us, so if you get [footage] at all, it can be fleeting. . . .We soon discovered that certain hair samples—which we would later identify as purported Sasquatch samples—had unique morphology distinguishing them from typical human and animal samples.”

Still say, “I’ll believe it when I see it”?  Hope you don’t feel that way about not believing in heaven or hell until you see them?  Of course, once you see them, you are at that point of no return.  Christian non-fiction prophecy books cites such unseen evidence, this way:  “If I ascend up into heaven, Thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, Thou art there (Psalm 139: 8.”

Oops, the psalmist is speaking of God. Maybe you don’t believe in Him either.  Well, then ask Him.  He knows if Big Foot, Yeti, Sasquash and other type beings exist.  And if you know God, you will indeed see them all one day! And if you don’t know God, then you will probably meet Big Foot one day too!
