Germany’s Three Reichs Vs. The 1,000 Year Reign of Christ!

Hitler called upon centuries of ruling other lands and peoples inbred in Germany’s historical culture.  The German word ‘reich’ means to reign or rule.  His nomenclature Third Reich was understood as returning the rule of The Holy Roman Empire to Germany where it had originally started.

Moreover, Hitler’s adaptation of the Thousand Year Reich was to supersede and prevent the Thousand Year reign of Jesus Christ as prophesied in The Bible.  In, Robert Wilde writes: “. . . the phrase ‘three reichs’ refers to the three empires of German history.”

Wikipedia explains:  Germany’s First Reich was the ‘Holy Roman Empire’ which began in 962 A.D. at the time when Otto the Great was crowned in Rome.  He had conquered the Kingdom of Italy and ruled most of central and southern Europe, even subjecting the Catholic Church under his control.  After his death, there were several wars with various nations in Europe and Otto’s descendants did not have sufficient strength to hold the empire together.

It was not until the late 19th century, when the Second Reich was established under Otto von Bismarck, who reigned as the first Chancellor of Germany from 1871 to 1890.  He unified various German states into a powerful German Empire.

Thereafter, though political cunning, Bismarck kept peace in Europe, and for this reason he was fired in 1890 by German Emperor, Friedrich III, who yearned for freedom to start wars to expand Germany’s reach over Europe.

Such longing for expansion among Germany’s royal families eventually led to World War I, ending in Germany’s defeat, thus setting the stage for the rise of Hitler and World War II.  Think Quest Library states:  “The Nazi Party attempted to combine traditional symbols of Germany with Nazi Party symbols in an effort to reinforce the perception of them as being one and the same”––i.e. extensions of the First and Second Reichs and of The Holy Roman Empire.

Hitler began the Third Reich, which he promised would last 1,000 years.  But he barely made it to 12 of those years.  However, Germany’s rule over the new European Union continues to extend that 12 year reign.  Through the EU, Germany ‘rules’ over most of Europe, and a German Pope now heads the Catholic church.

But it is no accident that Hitler’s term, the Thousand Year Reich, mimics the Biblical term, The Thousand Year Reign of Jesus Christ at the end of this age.  That reign will come after Christ and His Army defeats the third and last anti-Christ, of which Hitler was precursor as the second anti-Christ.

The Book of Revelation, ultimate among Christian non-fiction prophecy Books, explains:  “And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for The Word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years (20: 14).”
