An Anti-Christian Book is a Great One for Me to Read

2-reading-a-bookIt has always been interesting for me to read some different types of books that surround religion and especially Christianity on the whole. I am fascinated by the way that this religion has inspired many different types of individuals to write all kinds of books on the subject. It is exciting for me to be able to get a look at these authors based on what they write.

While many of the books that I read are ones that have the Christian religion featured positively within the pages, there are some that take a much less appealing look at it on the whole. I have been focusing recently on reading some of these different types of anti-Christian book choices just because they are books that are very interesting and even well received.

It is great to be able to study this area of literature and to learn more about the way that Christianity is portrayed within different types of books. I am very pleased with these different types of books on the whole as they really are helping me to learn more about the world and more about myself as well. Being able to explore this genre has been really good for me.

Looking Forward To Reading The Brotherhood Of The Rose

2-brotherhood-of-the-roseThere are some awesome Biblical books out there and I am always so intrigued by what I read about them that I feel like I just have to have these books in my home. I love finding Christian-themed and Bible-themed books whether they are fiction or they are non-fiction. There are some amazing stories out there with Christian themes.

Christian books give me some good perspective and insight on what it is to be Christian and the protection and wisdom that you will get from God if you choose to follow Jesus and to be faithful to Him. It seems like Christian books always give me some new perspective on my life or on a situation. They give me hope and encouragement through good times and bad.

One book that was recommended to me by a friend and that I am looking forward to reading is The Brotherhood Of The Rose. This book is one that was recommended to me by many people and I am really excited to get into it and to read it. The book seems very intriguing and I am sure that I will learn a lot from it. I can’t wait to find more books like this one to read in the future.

Reading Books Like Anti-Christian Nonfiction To Figure Out My Beliefs

posted by WiseBooks @ 13:53 PM
November 9, 2016

1-booksBooks are a great way to get some perspective on life and to figure out where you stand as far as what you believe in. I have been thinking a lot about my own beliefs and values lately, and have been struggling with whether or not I believe that God exists. My brother is a devoted Christian and my parents have been coming to Christianity.

I have been exploring Christianity just like my family and I want to get a good view of both sides of faith and atheism. For a lot of my life I have been agnostic, neither believing in God nor knowing that there is no God. Being an agnostic is not really what I want to always be, so I have been trying to get some perspective from believers and unbelievers alike on religion.

It is interesting to read both Christian books and atheist books and to see what side I agree with more. I have been getting into anti-Christian nonfiction lately and reading people’s views on the different religions and spiritual beliefs of the world. From books about the Mayan prophecy to books about pagan practices, there are a lot of interesting reads that are helping me to evaluate my own beliefs and figure out how to live my life.

The Plumed Serpent is a Shocking Rendition of Aztec Religion

posted by WiseBooks @ 11:31 AM

the plumed serpentThis summer, I have been trying to read some anti-Christian fiction just so that I can get some idea of the belief systems of those living in very different situations from me. It is startling and interesting to get a look into different types of belief systems as a whole. Even though I find this type of literature somewhat concerning, I feel that it is good to be aware of it.

Most recently, I ended up reading The Plumed Serpent which is a book about an Aztec religious cult that is trying to bring back the old religion beliefs. Overall it is interesting just because of the way that it explores other culture so thoroughly. It was definitely worrying to find the different information written into the fictional story that occurs.

I really feel that reading books like this helps me to see the world from multiple angles. Even if I don’t agree with all types of belief systems, I am able to see why people believe what they do and how this has changed them and effected them over time. This book especially took me into the exploration of a very strange world of differing belief on the whole.

Don’t Disregard Anti-Christian Fiction

posted by WiseBooks @ 18:08 PM

anti-christian fictionThere are lots of people out there that will challenge your beliefs, and you need to be ready for it when it happens. Basically, if you hold Christian beliefs dear, it’s best to have a working knowledge of non-Christian beliefs. That way, you can have a better understanding of the beliefs that will step up and challenge you. Not to mention, it’s always interesting to read books from different perspectives than your own.

For me, The Plumed Serpent is a work that comes to mind, as it reflects the ancient Aztec religion. The serpent is actually the Aztec god Quetzalcoatl. It’s a book that’s very well-known and is considered a classic. It’s a piece of anti-Christian fiction that really sticks out to me. It has a lot of political overtones and is a very opinionated work by D. H. Lawrence.

So when I read books, I read all kinds of books. Although I have Christian beliefs, I don’t just stick to Christian works. It’s best to have an open mind and read about all sorts of things. You don’t have to agree with everything you read, of course. It’s all about getting different views and opinions from different types of people.

The World Is Too Much With Us: West’s Anti-Muslim Reactions

posted by Dr. Jael Ever @ 11:10 AM
December 31, 2014

008507-protest-banner    Whether in England, Germany, France or Australia, the Western world seems  uncomfortably stifled by millions of ‘different’ Islamic believers now flooding their shores. Political leaders may defy those who react against such intrusions, but in democracies human expression cannot long be suppressed.

Callum Wood’s discussion, ‘In Denial: Sydney Terrorist Attack Proves Australia Is Radicalizing,’ explains that Australia’s immigration policy allows thousands of Middle Eastern refugees to flood that nation, many of whom refuse to assimilate into Australia’s culture. Some even seem determined to destroy it––i.e. those who leave Australia to fight for ISIS and then return more radical than ever.

Astounded by anti-Muslim reaction, often non-European newcomers do not understand such rejection. Only history can somewhat explain it: Within two generations, Western nations have been through two world worlds, several undeclared wars, along with economic upheavals and continual social adjustments.

In western Europe, people of many nations still struggle to cope with this ‘new’ formed European Union, often resenting forced language and cultural meshing. Now they are being asked to immediately accept people who are even more foreign, from different cultures and religions.  It is a wonder there has not been more revolt against this unseen future.

Few understand––especially newly arriving immigrants to Europe’s shores––that western Europe never healed from World Wars I and II. In the British television series ‘Foyle’s War, starring Michael Kitchen and Honeysuckle Weeks, both civilians and return soldiers––all of whom endured unbelievable suffering and loses during WW2––say repeatedly that the war cost them everything––jobs, homes, incomes, businesses, etc. and gained them very little.

The utter confusion of that war and its continuing influence as Europeans killed Europeans over political differences and Hitler’s and Stalin’s continuingly vicious geographical and psychological thefts are well illustrated in the German film, ‘Two Lives’ starring Juliane Kohler and Liv Ullmann.  Again the problems of unstable realities and ethnic identifies pits European against European.

So to expect those of similar racial, cultural and Christian backgrounds, who still fight to maintain sane xmas-offends-muslimsfootings, to calmly accept thousands, if not millions, from entirely different cultures, religions and racial identities asks Herculean tasks.

Through control of public rhetoric––i.e. “attacking Muslins are not terrorists, just a few deranged killers” and “such reaction against them is extreme right-wing Nazism,” etc.––leaders in Germany, Australia, England and France say and do everything possible to stifle this ‘Nazi-type’ resistance. But they fight a losing battle. Forces will see to it that the ‘enemies’ Nazism and Islam unite as in WW2.

For one thing, Europe’s turn towards secularism and away from Christianity weakens any argument against fanatical followers of Islam, some of whom indeed want to take over the West as a stepping stone to the Islamic part in the coming World War III––i.e. consider ISIS just a few hundred miles away.

These are spiritual battles. They cannot be won with cultural, political or even military weapons alone. As Apostle Paul instructs in, for him, the social construction of reality: “Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6: 11-12).”

Is U.S. Planning to Restore the Military Draft System?

posted by Dr. Jael Ever @ 18:31 PM
December 11, 2014

Army_Recruit2    It will come as a shock to most Americans––especially those under 40 years of age––but the government strongly considers reinstating military draft service. And a possible plan is to include women, as well as men, over the age of 18, as eligible for involuntary inclusion into immediate military service.

Why on earth would politicians consider such an unpopular move?  Surely this legislation will cause an uproar in the country. But jointly both sides of the political aisle will enforce this action, because this country is preparing for WW3. Indeed, by the time this law is enacted, the country will probably be at war.

No less than long-time in office, N.Y. Congressman Charlie Rangel has introduced a bill to reinstall the military draft with urgency:  “For a decade I have been calling for the reinstatement of the draft because our military personnel and their families bear a tremendous cost each time we send them to fight.

“Since 2001, nearly 7,000 soldiers have paid for these wars with their lives. More than 52,000 have been wounded, many narrowly saved by the miracle of modern medicine. The 3.3 million military households have become a virtual military class who are unfairly shouldering the brunt of war.”

Rangel’s bill also calls for enactment of a War Tax that will further involve all Americans in the costs of war:  “In addition to the significant number of precious lives lost in Iraq and Afghanistan, we have accumulated too much debt to finance these wars. The United States has borrowed almost $2 trillion to fund our military engagements on foreign soil.

“It is estimated that the total cost would be close to $6 trillion; we continue to pay a heavy toll for these conflicts. Each dollar spent on war is a dollar not spent on education, energy, housing, or healthcare.” As for compelling women to serve in the military, Rangel tells USA Today:

“Reinstating the draft and requiring women to register for the Selective Service would compel the American public to have a stake in the wars we fight as a nation. We must question why and how we go to war, and who decides to send our men and women into harm’s way.”

While not directly agreeing with Rangel, outgoing Secretary of Defense, Chuck Hagel, tells TV internet commenter Charlie Rose:  “The world is dangerous. It is damn dangerous. We live in this imperfect, dynamic, changing, threatening, dangerous, interconnected world that we have never seen before,” implying the U.S. is not ready for this more dangerous world.

Army Chief of Staff Gen. Ray Odierno agrees. He tells the Wall Street Journal that world poses: “Security threats to obama-dhs-homeland-security-preparing-for-war-private-army-march-26-2013America as the Islamic State (ISIS) is rapidly growing in size while Moscow is acting like it wants to reignite the Cold War. . . . The world is changing in front of us. We have seen Russian aggression in Europe, we have seen ISIS, we have seen increased stability in other places . . .”

Those two men complain about forced cuts from the Sequester. The military claims not to want reinstatement of the draft system, but when WW3-inducing bombs drop on U.S. soil, they and the American people will quickly change their minds. Forced war does such, and forced war is what Russia and ISIS want.

However––seeking those who will fight to sustain either good or evil––the heavens have draft systems in place as well. In God’s Word, the social construction of reality says His side wins the final war: “These shall make war with The Lamb, and The Lamb shall overcome them: for He is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with Him are called, and chosen, and faithful (Revelation 17:14).”

He’s ‘Nuts’: Putin Wants WW3––Been Planning It For Years

posted by Dr. Jael Ever @ 18:24 PM
September 29, 2014

Putin-Pushing-for-War    Hello!  Is anybody listening? Russian President Vladimir Putin pushing the U.S. and other nations over the next World War cliff! By defining who are ‘authentic’ Russians, and who are Russia’s absolute enemies, this certified ‘mad man’ is marching Nazi-lock step into WWIII, and planning to take America along.

Presidential advisor to Putin from 2000 to 2005, Andrey Illarionov, told The Lithuania Tribune: “Russian laws essentially define four categories of ‘Russians’: 1) Ethnic Russians, irrespective of whether they reside in or outside Russia;

Russian-speakers, irrespective of their nationality; 3) All former citizens of the Soviet Union and their offspring living in the territories formerly covered by the USSR; and 4) Former citizens of the Russian Empire (pre-1917) and their offspring living in the territories once covered by the Russian Empire.”

Further he adds: “Such a legal base allows the Russian army to protect all the Russians listed in the law. Therefore, for the Russian side, such actions of the Russian army beyond Russian borders might seem completely legitimate.”

Illarionov also notes that Putin does not recognize Ukraine as a ‘real’ nation, but merely “ . . . a state that has historically belonged to Russia, as well as Hungary, Poland and Romania.” No Baltic state is safe, nor is the rest of the world.

Clearly, by such contorted definitions, Putin and those who follow his beliefs could go to war against most nations of the world whenever they want to.  For instance, there are thousands of “ Russian Speakers” in New York city alone.

Thus men following Putin’s ‘logic’ can make up their own reasons for  going to war for Russia. Alexander Kiliment of the Eurasia Group and Donald Jensen of John Hopkins University categorize pro-Russian separatists fighting in Ukraine as: 1) Pro-Russian Ukrainians who were loyal to ousted Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich; 2) Mercenaries paid by Russian interests, including ethnic Chechens;3) Separatists from Russia whose end goal is the creation of their own republic; 4) Russian special forces, elite troops who have been fighting in Ukraine for months.

Further, Bill Gertz of the Washington Free Beacon emphasizes Putin’s redefinition of Russia’s enemies. Gertz says that practice runs of Russia bombers over the U.S. and Canada are based on: “Russia’s own recent decision to revise a 2010 military doctrine to identify the US and NATO members as enemies.”

This new doctrine, Gertz insists: “ . . . clearly outlines the conditions of a preemptive nuclear strike” against [NATO]nuclear-strike-Putin partner countries.  In response, NATO General Anders Fogh Rasmussen has some “ . . . 4,000 troops [ready for] the conditions of a preemptive nuclear strike against partner countries.”

That small number won’t do.  Apparently, Europe––as it did before World Wars I and II–– has its head in the sand, hoping that economic sanctions leveled against Russia will work. But using logic against an ‘insane’ man doesn’t work.

Speaking of heads in the sand, are American Christians aware of what Russia is doing? Or do they really think that staid worship services, tea parties, picnics, and fall holiday celebrations will make Putin’s threats go away?

Perhaps in their minds the social construction of reality is limited to their ‘safe’ world. As Ephesians 5: 14 cries out:  “Wherefore He saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.”

Re-‘Hitlertizied’ Genetic Engineering & Destruction of Human Identity

posted by Dr. Jael Ever @ 11:57 AM
April 11, 2014

humanembryo-300x225    Even in a world gone mad, one would think that Hitler’s failed attempts at genetic engineering would not be retained––much less lauded––nearly a century later.  But in continuous attempts to further separate man from godly principles, ‘mad’ science proves such optimistic thinking anachronistically wrong.

Those who believe that reproductive methods millenniums old should not be tampered with––as God intends men to follow methods making human beings in His image and likeness––are seen as old-fashioned ‘Scientific Regressives.’

Post-modern man now invents new ways to contaminate age-old processes of love, marriage and sexual reproduction. Setting aside such notions as surrogacy, or a third sex identity (as expounded in Australia and Germany), some scientists insist that people should be ‘genetically engineered’ like vegetables or fruits.

Even the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) was taken aback a few weeks ago to find out that GMO (Genetically Modified) human beings “have already been created via ‘in vitro’ experiments,” according to

“Specifically, the FDA is discussing the genetic manipulation of human eggs and embryos in order to prevent three-parent-family-300inherited mitochondrial disease and treat infertility. The GMO techniques under consideration include manipulation at the mitochondrial level to replace or augment mutant rDNA and methods that could create babies with three parents.”  Please see opening statement––world gone mad!

Yet this distinguished group of government overseers were not so shocked to  avoid admitting that 44 other countries have already banned this kind of genetic manipulation.  These professionals only want to ‘set guidelines’ for human clinical trials that might take place, so that ‘experimenters’ can determine “potential risks” for children born from such experiments. Wasn’t the whole point to avoid risks?

“For now,” proclaims: “The desired genetic outcomes discussed will be limited to the prevention of inherited mitochondrial diseases (e.g., LHON) or infertility due to abnormalities in the quality and quantity of mitochondria in female eggs.” Do they think people are that stupid?  Errant genetic scientists have conducted such experiments long before FDA decided to ‘approve’ them.

Even Darwinist Wesley J. Smith joins Biblical ‘Regressives’ in opposing human genetic engineering: “Neo eugenicists and would-be genetic engineers often claim that those of us who oppose their intention to engage in biological alchemy do so for strictly religious reasons. Not me.

“I oppose eugenics in all its forms because it violates the fundamentals of human exceptionalism by assuming that some people can be better than other people based on heightened capacities. The new eugenics merely deploys a kinder, gentler lexicon for the same inherently invidious distinctions described in the vile distinctions that used to be made between the so-called ‘fit’ and ‘unfit’.”

These far-gone experiments speak nothing but continuation of Hitlerian Darwinism’s creation of the ‘demigod’s perfect man’––the mad world’s new Frankenstein.  As Aldous Huxley predicted in his anti-Christian fiction, ‘Brave New World,’ this genetic perfection may only produce a race of soul-less individuals who will bring societies nothing but murderously destructive dystopia––the same as Hitler brought to Germany by the end of WW2.

This blogger often repeats John’s prayer at the end of his Revelation:  “Even so, come [quickly] LORD Jesus (22:20).”  But now, we don’t have to urge His soon return.  In a world filled with more of these ridiculously looney ‘experiments,’ God will indeed send His Son back much sooner than He may have intended.

Sign of End Times: Egypt’s New Repression Sentences 529 to Death

posted by Dr. Jael Ever @ 9:00 AM
April 4, 2014

Egypts-demonstrationsApparently Egypt’s embraces of extremism on all sides render the country’s problems unsolvable: One side of the population, with the military’s help, pushed out President Mohamed Morsi of the Muslim Brotherhood; and now his followers retaliate by rebelling against the take-over military’s repressive rule.

That repression came to light recently when––after only two court sessions and without defense testimony––a judge sentenced 529 defendants to death, because a police officer was killed during a demonstration against Morsi’s ouster.

As Juan Cole writes in ‘Egypt Shocks the World With Plan for Mass Execution of Over 500 Muslim Brothers,’  “Only 147 of the suspects are actually in custody. The rest were sentenced in absentia.”

David D. Kirkpatrick’s extended article, ‘Hundreds of Egyptians Sentenced to Death in Killing of a Police Officer,’ exposits everyone expected a wholesale riot in reaction to the verdict, but: “After nine months of escalating repression that culminated in the extraordinary verdict, the military-led government . . .

“ . . .appears to have finally cowed his supporters into near-silence here in Minya, perhaps their greatest stronghold. The city was the heart of a fierce Islamist insurgency [of Morsi supporters] just two decades ago, and threatened to rise up again, against the new government.”

Kirkpatrick claims Egyptian lawyers call this the “harshest mass conviction in modern Egyptian history,” because it sets legal procedures and history aside.  Most Egyptians are afraid to speak out, regardless of their political leanings.

In Cairo, 20 journalists––including four foreigners and nine workers for AlJazeera News Service––are charged with supporting the Muslim Brotherhood.  This and other legal actions indicate that Egypt’s judiciary––once known as the country’s most liberal body––is totally on the side of the repressive government.

Moreover, several student demonstrators were sentenced to 17 years in prison.  In Minya, 600 more defendants brotherhood-courtroomawait their verdict.  Mohamed Badie, spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, is one of those 600.

Explaining the severity of the 529 convictions, Cole adds:  “Among Middle Eastern countries, the most execution happy is Iran, with over 300 a year.  With just one trial, Egypt has made itself more Draconian than Iran.”

Showing that Egypt has stepped into a darker side of evil, Kawther Salam of Europe & Middle East News insists: ‘Egyptian Security Forces Invent Bogus Terrorist Cells to Serve Their Political Agenda:’

“Arab Organization for Human Rights received a number of complaints from the families of students forcefully disappeared by security forces. Shortly after their disappearance, their families were shocked to see them on state-owned and pro-coup television channels confessing to crimes that could carry the death sentence. The families later learned, through their lawyers, that the detainees had been brutally tortured to extract these confessions.”

The social construction of reality in God’s Word identifies Egypt with the darkest of Satanic evil.  In Revelation when The LORD’s two witnesses holding off Satan’s destruction in the last days are finally murdered:  “And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also Our Lord was crucified (11: 8).” When they rule Jerusalem in the final holocaust, these two Gentile nations will exhibit the worse Satanic evil imaginable.
