An Anti-Christian Book is a Great One for Me to Read

2-reading-a-bookIt has always been interesting for me to read some different types of books that surround religion and especially Christianity on the whole. I am fascinated by the way that this religion has inspired many different types of individuals to write all kinds of books on the subject. It is exciting for me to be able to get a look at these authors based on what they write.

While many of the books that I read are ones that have the Christian religion featured positively within the pages, there are some that take a much less appealing look at it on the whole. I have been focusing recently on reading some of these different types of anti-Christian book choices just because they are books that are very interesting and even well received.

It is great to be able to study this area of literature and to learn more about the way that Christianity is portrayed within different types of books. I am very pleased with these different types of books on the whole as they really are helping me to learn more about the world and more about myself as well. Being able to explore this genre has been really good for me.

Twelve Signs of Unique American Idolatry

prayer-lists    As Christians begin Prayer Lists for 2017, it is more than advisable that every believer take a realistic view of the state of our nation in The Eyes of God’s Holy Word. While hundreds of churches and ministries may have achieved recent significant political victories, further attainment cannot be made without realistic looks at the nation’s weakening sinful conditions and possibilities of strong assaults against satanic enemies on spiritual battlegrounds.

All of these present problems cannot be covered in one blog message, but they can at least be outlined: 1) Increasing uses of killer drugs—including heroin; 2) Nation-side Obesity; 3) Male Sports Obsessions; 4) Pet animal Obsessions; 5) Materialism; 6) Dominant dependency on medicines; 7) Economic blindness to national pockets of poverty; 8) Love of Entertainment; 9) Increasing sexual defiance; 10) Denial of 300 years of national identity; 11) Creeping open paganism worship; 12) Falling away from Christianity—not believing in The LORD Jesus Christ or attending Christian churches or cathedrals.

We will cover each of these issues in coming blogs, but here is a hint: Last year, U.S. Deaths from heroin over-doses now outnumbers deaths in this nation from cancer or any other known physical diseases.  This record number of killer-deaths is soon followed by “legal” opiates, prescription drugs or hospital ‘medications’.  And these record “drug” induced deaths do not necessarily include historical cigarette, cigar or alcohol killers. These new, and usually illegally imported, addiction killers are bringing the nation to its knees.  And only the power of God, beginning with earnest Christian repentance and prayer, can stop such nefarious loses.

Much of these national failures begin with the fault of weak, and often unsaved, Christian leadership: men and women who have done everything possible in the last several decades to stifle the power of God in churches, especially the power of continuous weekly prayer meetings. Starting in the 1960s seminaries and pastors decided that group prayer in churches needed to be replaced with what they called “Bible Study.”

As a result church leadership has been vastly supplanted by television “ministries,” so-called Christian television-ministysinging entertainment, and the rise of semi-Christian and non-Christian cults.  Thus, believers seem to know less about the Bible than ever before, and certainly churches have little or no power to heal sicknesses, diseases; unite families; help solve unemployment, etc., or to affect the growing poverty creeping wholesale upon the nation.  Or as one verse in wholesale Christian Bibles puts it: “Where there is no vision, the people perish . . . (Proverbs 29: 18).  Vision of what, you ask?  Vision is the understanding and acceptance of the power of God, of His will, and especially of His way to attain that power as set forth in His Holy Word.  God’s people and the churches that bear His Name had best start praying now or the nation will soon be wiped off the face of the earth.

Be sure to catch Dr. O’Neale’s weekly broadcast on Worship Detroit Internet Radio each Wednesday at 7 p.m. If you would like to support this blogging ministry, please make a purchase from our store, in support of the ministry.  Also, Dr. O’Neale has a “go fund me page” where she hopes to raise funds to open a Bible School/Bible Institute.  Or you can make contributions through her daughter’s Pay Pal account,

Picking Out Nero Wolfe – Three for the Chair to Read

posted by WiseBooks @ 12:00 PM
December 20, 2016

1-booksI love to spend time reading books of all kinds. It is always wonderful to be able to head to a library or to a bookstore where I can find new reading material that I can enjoy on a regular basis. It is so easy for me to find all kinds of different types of books that I can read in a variety of genres when I am looking for these different books in the library or at a bookstore.

Most recently, I was looking around online for some books just because there were some really great deals on books that I had seen priced a lot higher at many different places. It was really great to be able to find so many great prices on a range of different types of books that I knew I would be interested in. I spent a good amount of time choosing different ones to read.

One of the books that I bought is a very interesting one that I never really expected to pick up. I have only just begun to read Nero Wolfe – Three for the Chair, but so far it has been a very unexpected read. It is always great for me to find books like these that are ones that are just so interesting on the whole.

Thanksgiving: God’s Time to Stand Against the Rage

posted by Dr. Jael Ever @ 7:00 AM
November 24, 2016

giving-thanks   Yes, Thanksgiving is a time to Give God thanks for all He has done for us, for our family, and for our nation in the current year. We have planted seed, we have sown tithes, offerings and testimonies, and now it is time to thank Him for the harvest we have survived to bring in this year—survived because, remember, we have also been in battle against the most destructive enemy the world has ever known—the three-fold forces of evil: Satan, the anti (and ‘ante’) Christ, and the false prophet. Yes, all three operate now on earth today!

As we consider this harvest time of blessings, we must also thank God, Our Father, for being alive.  Remember, people in many nations around the globe—and people within our own nation–are not alive this year to do so.  No matter what our material, financial or physical condition, is we must thank and praise God for life!  As The LORD Jesus says:  “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10: 10).”

So if you did not succeed in everything you wanted to do this year, remember it was Satan and his ilk who stole it from you. If you are a truly born-again believer in Jesus Christ, if you have asked Him into your heart, if you now nurture a relationship with Him, and with God, The Father, through God The Holy Spirit Who lives inside of you to guide you through these shores on earth, endeavoring to equip you for present and eternal service for God Almighty—then you have an enemy, whose name is Satan, the devil, ole ‘sloo’-foot, who fights against you tooth and nail.  Oh, you can’t see him, but he is the source of the majority of your trials and failures in 2016.

Thus, this Thanksgiving, thank God for another chance to succeed—to get over the top in the coming year. One demon which books–such as “Practicing The Power of God” and “Born Into Plenty” by John M. Haggard”– identify is Automatic Failure Mechanism.  In other words—connected with demons of Generational Curses—the failure mechanism suppresses attempts at business or workplace success, kills dreams and goals of better achievements, and stifles hope in your prayer life. Demons, such as Generational Curses, may have caused your parents, grandparents, etc. to fail over the years—stealing their wealth and ideas so that wicked people can profit from them—and now they are spiritual fattened to steal your future profits and success as well.

So Don’t Let Them Do It.  Take authority over these cooperating evil spiritual forces in The Name of Jesus.  Look at Our Savior’s promises in such situations:  “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10: 19).” Now and in the coming year, constantly pray against these and other demons interfering with your success, your health, your home and your happiness.  Satan has armies of cooperating demonic forces fighting against the children of God. In this coming year, more than ever before, God’s people—like all Good Soldiers in His Army–must start fighting back!

Finally, if your personal life or habits are not straightened out, Repent! And seek God’s help to get your circumstances cleansed of sin and evil.  Stop cooperating with these additional demons tempting you into these situations as well.  Remember, God is not a fool: “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap (Galatians 6: 7.” Mocked means to make fun of, as if the one mocked is a clown or a fool.  Through God, The Holy Spirit, Who has never left the earth, The Father has access to infinite knowledge.  As Isaiah points out in wholesale Christian Bibles: “And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD (11: 2).”

So now and in the coming year, let us all stop taking God’s mercy for granted.  Let us always walk in mercy-of-god-in-jesuslove—including forgiveness–and repentance.  As The LORD Jesus teaches: “After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.

“And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

“For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses (Matthew 6: 9 – 15).”

God Bless you all Now and Forever. Remember, Satan is furious that true Christians are born again, that God’s loves and lives in them, and that Almighty God is furious with him, and that he will never see the insides of heaven again.  The more we fight against Satan’s rage, the more successful we will be now in life and forever in all eternity!

Interested To Read About Plagues With The Fourth Horseman

posted by WiseBooks @ 13:53 PM
November 20, 2016

2-the-fourth-horsemanThere are some great books out there that help me to learn a lot about society and the events that have occurred in the past or may occur in the present. I love to read both nonfiction books and fiction books that have some Biblical roots or that are spiritual in some way. These kinds of books are the most interesting for me to read.

Fiction books are books I have always loved to read and I am really excited to read the next book that I have in mind. I love the way that you can just let your imagination run wild with fiction books and you can dive into a world that is unique and that faces some tough situations. There is a particular book I heard about from my friends that I have been really interested in lately.

The book that I have been really excited to read is The Fourth Horseman. This book is a fiction book about the Black Plague and the way it can spread from animals to humans. The book has some Biblical roots, as plagues are mentioned in the Bible, in Revelation, by a horseman. Stories that include medical aspects have always been interesting to me, as I have always been terrified of a plague and wondered if maybe one even wiped out the dinosaurs.

Title: Culture Replacing Christianity in Many Churches

posted by Dr. Jael Ever @ 7:00 AM
November 17, 2016

joseph-matteraI have always admired the ministry of Joseph Mattera, Overseeing Bishop of Resurrection Church and Christ Covenant Coalition. Last year in a post on, titled “5 Signs There’s Idolatry in Your Church,” he wrote: “There are many believers who have allowed their ethnicity and culture to trump the Word of God. Jesus said culture is even stronger than the Word of God in some people’s lives (Mark 7:7-8).”

That Scripture he references reads: “Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.” The LORD Jesus warns that this is one of the most dangerous trends threatening churches today and yesterday.

The Savior continues:  “And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.  For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death:“But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free. And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother; Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye (Mark 7: 9 – 13).”

Thus, The LORD Jesus insists that to substitute one’s race, color, tribe or ethnic background in place of absolute faith in Him and His Word is just as much idolatry as if one bowed down and worshiped material images or idols. Brother Mattera continues:  “God is not color blind, since He made humans black, brown, yellow, red and white in His own image. Hence, He designed us to have distinctions in culture regarding food, dress, language and other things based upon ethnic nuances.

“However, these distinctions are not where believers should derive their primary identity or anchor their biblical ethics, for in Christ there is neither male nor female, black, white or brown, for we are all one in Christ (Gal. 3:28).  That verse in King James says:  “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.” And verse 29 adds:  “And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” Thus, today, many who claim to be believing God for prosperity, have God’s promises blocked because they want to be a child of fleshly heritage, more than they want to be a child of Abraham.

Bishop Mattera adds:  “When our ethnic thinking trumps our biblical thinking, we are guilty either of ignorance or ethnic idolatry. Unless or until the body of Christ gets over its idolatry according to ethnicity, we will never become the generation that can disciple the nations (or in other words, ethnic people groups as shown in Matthew 28:19). Since there is no neutrality, either the church will disciple the nations or the nations will disciple the church!”

In that verse from wholesale Christian Bibles, the Bishop cites, The LORD Jesus says:  “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.” Again, The LORD Jesus adds even more:  “Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world (Matthew 28: 20).” Both The Savior, his servant and His Holy Word insist that believers must follow Him, not the mistakes of their parents or the traditions of others.

Apostle John adds that the ultimate test of all Christianity is to follow true prophets: “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but 1john5v1try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world (1 John 4: 1).” The false spirit, prophet or preacher who tells you to go to his church because your parents went there, or because you are all of the same race of ethnicity, may well be a false prophet who follows a spirit that is not The Holy Spirit.  John insists that true Christians must walk always in love towards everyone:  “Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him (1 John 5: 1).”

How is this tied to prosperity you ask? Well it may be why some prayers about prosperity are not answered: “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him (1 John 5: 14 – 15).” That promise is for those who love Him and who OBEY His commandments to love—i.e. according to His will)–regardless of race, ethnicity or familial tradition!

Looking Forward To Reading The Brotherhood Of The Rose

posted by WiseBooks @ 10:37 AM
November 11, 2016

2-brotherhood-of-the-roseThere are some awesome Biblical books out there and I am always so intrigued by what I read about them that I feel like I just have to have these books in my home. I love finding Christian-themed and Bible-themed books whether they are fiction or they are non-fiction. There are some amazing stories out there with Christian themes.

Christian books give me some good perspective and insight on what it is to be Christian and the protection and wisdom that you will get from God if you choose to follow Jesus and to be faithful to Him. It seems like Christian books always give me some new perspective on my life or on a situation. They give me hope and encouragement through good times and bad.

One book that was recommended to me by a friend and that I am looking forward to reading is The Brotherhood Of The Rose. This book is one that was recommended to me by many people and I am really excited to get into it and to read it. The book seems very intriguing and I am sure that I will learn a lot from it. I can’t wait to find more books like this one to read in the future.

Reading Books Like Anti-Christian Nonfiction To Figure Out My Beliefs

posted by WiseBooks @ 13:53 PM
November 9, 2016

1-booksBooks are a great way to get some perspective on life and to figure out where you stand as far as what you believe in. I have been thinking a lot about my own beliefs and values lately, and have been struggling with whether or not I believe that God exists. My brother is a devoted Christian and my parents have been coming to Christianity.

I have been exploring Christianity just like my family and I want to get a good view of both sides of faith and atheism. For a lot of my life I have been agnostic, neither believing in God nor knowing that there is no God. Being an agnostic is not really what I want to always be, so I have been trying to get some perspective from believers and unbelievers alike on religion.

It is interesting to read both Christian books and atheist books and to see what side I agree with more. I have been getting into anti-Christian nonfiction lately and reading people’s views on the different religions and spiritual beliefs of the world. From books about the Mayan prophecy to books about pagan practices, there are a lot of interesting reads that are helping me to evaluate my own beliefs and figure out how to live my life.

Reading The Social Construction of Reality Is Worth It

posted by WiseBooks @ 18:22 PM
September 1, 2016

2 the social construction of realityWhile I don’t read a lot of scholarly books, I couldn’t help but get sucked into a book about social constructs. Sociology is something I’ve always found interesting, and this book basically presents the idea of reality being entirely a social construct. It’s a fascinating idea, and the book lays out exactly the reasons why this theory is supported. Since I had never thought of reality that way before, I found it fascinating.

The book is called The Social Construction of Reality, and it’s definitely a dense read. It’s completely filled with information that really makes you think. For example, words are definitely a societal thing. As a child, you learn words from other people and associate them with different things. Therefore, words are socially constructed. And this is just one of the many points the author makes in this book.

I think this book is definitely worth a read. It’s something that opens up your mind to new thoughts and ideas as a whole. While not a lot of people may be thinking about how reality exists, it’s certainly something that’s interesting to think about while reading this book. I think it’s a very scholarly book that’s worth looking into.

Ancient Sex God Worshiped in Churches Today?

posted by Dr. Jael Ever @ 7:00 AM
August 27, 2016

Book-of-Ezekiel    Reading through the Book of Ezekiel in preparation for our new on-line Bible School, I was struck by verses in Chapter 8 about the ancient sex-idol god Tammuz.  Images of this filthy god placed at the door of Israel’s temple provoked Almighty God to extreme anger, and brought unending judgment upon the people of Israel:

“And he put forth the form of an hand, and took me by a lock of mine head; and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward the north; where was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy. And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel was there, according to the vision that I saw in the plain.

“Then said he unto me, Son of man, lift up thine eyes now the way toward the north. So I lifted up mine eyes the way toward the north, and behold northward at the gate of the altar this image of jealousy in the entry.
He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations. . . . Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the LORD’S house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz. Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations than these. (8: 3–6, 14-15).”

According to Wikipedia, Tammuz was the Babylon god akin to the Greek god Adonis.  And Babylon (or today’s Iraq) was where most of Judah (what remained of Israel) had been carried into slavery, including the prophet who was taken there when in his late teens. Tammuz was the Hollywood-style sex symbol in his day.  “Beginning with the summer solstice [i.e. worship of seasonal changes) came a time of mourning in the Ancient Near East, as in the Aegean: the Babylonians marked the decline in daylight hours and the onset of killing summer heat and drought with a six-day “funeral” for the god. . . These mourning ceremonies were observed at the door of the Temple in Jerusalem in a vision the Israelite prophet Ezekiel was given, which serves as a Biblical prophecy which expresses the Lord’s message at His people’s apostate worship of idols:”

Further in the chapter, after God showed priest and other church officers worshiping animals and other aspects of nature, He led the prophet to this scene: “And He brought me into the inner court of The LORD’S house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of The LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshiped the sun toward the east. “Then He said unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke Me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose (8: 16 – 17).”

This sun worship was again, people going to God’s temple, not for spiritual nourishment through His Holy Spirit, but for feeding the natural man, or at least praying for that natural man’s continuous sustenance through things of nature.  Sadly, in too many churches in America today, the situation is still akin to “feeding” the natural man.

Consider unsaved men who openly confess that they only attend church so that they can meet and date “clean” women. These men say they have not confessed Christ as their Savior, nor do they intend to. Or further take a closer look at some women in pews handing seductive notes to male ushers asking if the men would be interested in a sexual relationship—and that often for money.  And what about unmarried pastors who are known to “date” several different women in the congregation??

Years ago, at a large crusade led by a famous American television evangelist, several officials claimed it was well known that prostitutes attended these campaigns in hopes of seducing male (and female) attendees to hotels for sexual romps.  Surely, the presence of God’s Holy Spirit should have been so strong as to cleanse out such foolishness.  The same can be said of these mammoth church services in the U.S. today.

Moreover, today “Hollywood Christians” and decadent fashion designers—through television, the internet and personal appearances—influence Christian women to dress for Sexual Effects, not for Christian modesty.  Thus, so much in the U.S. Christian world today posits to feed the ‘natural’ man and woman rather than their spiritual “born again” persons.

As it says in wholesale Christian Bibles – In Romans, chapter 7, Apostle Paul writes about the struggle that Christians have in fighting against roman-chapter-7the “natural” man.  He makes clear here that the natural man can only lead to death.  At the end, he cries out: “O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin (7: 24 – 25).”

God’s fury over the sexual deviousness of Tammuz and sun worship—i.e. worship in and of the natural man—could only be assuaged by judgment.  In Ezekiel, chapter 9, following the revelations about Tammuz and sun worship, Our Holy God commanded: “He cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand. And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer’s inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brasen altar. And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer’s inkhorn by his side;

“And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.

“And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity: “Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at My sanctuary.” Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.

“And he said unto them, Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain: go ye forth. And they went forth, and slew in the city. And it came to pass, while they were slaying them, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel in thy pouring out of thy fury upon Jerusalem? (9: 1 – 8)”

So true believers must decide today whether to be natural men to be slain in God’s soon and pending judgment, or intercessors who will now cry out for God to save our churches and our nation!
