1-christian-crossAs a new Christian, I love to find books on Christian topics that help to strengthen my faith and to help me to know how to deal with life situations in the best way possible. There are a lot of great ways to learn about Christianity and about the Christian values and principles. Finding some great Christian books is something that is always very exciting for me.

Whether I am reading Christian fiction or nonfiction, I always learn a lot through some good Christian books. They have really helped me to make the decision to become a follower of Christ and know I can have the freedom to live my life without sin wrapping its chains around me constantly. It is so freeing to be a Christian and know that I have eternal life.

I have recently really gotten into Christian suspense fiction and it has allowed me to discover how Christian principles can be applied in all sorts of situations. I love reading this kind of fiction because I can’t wait to turn the page and see what happens next. Once I start reading, I can’t stop. These Christian books have helped me also to strengthen my faith as I see how Biblical principles would prevail in any story.

Feeling Sucked into Christian Fiction Novels

posted by WiseBooks @ 18:21 PM

1 christian fiction novelI really enjoy reading books that have a bit of truth to them, but are still fiction. Things like historical fiction really interest me, as well as things that will happen in the future based on facts. For example, when the antichrist comes to Earth, I like reading about how the world will react. This is the central theme of a book I just read recently, and it was a good read.

The book, called The Mark: The Beast Rules the World, is one of the Left Behind books. It’s a series of Christian fiction novels that are based on events that will happen in the future, according to the Bible. I think it’s a gripping read, as it’s about the antichrist seizing control of most of the world. It’s a book that really sucks you in and makes you think.

Although it’s fiction, I can’t help but be pulled into it like I’m there in the story. I think it’s a book that everyone should read that enjoys Christian fiction as much as me. This book could very well be a good predictor of what will happen in the future. I’m so glad I was able to find this book and read it for myself.

historical fictionMy parents are Christian and they enjoy reading fiction books by Christian authors as well as non-fiction books. They like to read about various Christian topics about the right way to live your life every day. They love to read a lot of historical fiction that is based on the life of Jesus and other historical events in the Christian religion.

Being able to read a good book by a Christian author is something that my parents really look forward to. They enjoy getting lost in a good tale that has a lot to do with their beliefs, even if the tale is a fictional one. They recently got into a new book that they discovered about everyday choices that the author thinks that Jesus would have made.

This book is a great Christian authors historical fiction book and it has given my parents a lot to think about. They enjoy reading a book together and then talking about everything that they have gained from the book. Reading this book has been interesting for them and it involves everyday decisions that Christians are called to make. I am looking forward to reading this book once my parents are done with it.

Sudan Wife & Mother Arrested Twice Because She Is A Christian!

Meriam-Ibrahim-imprisonedThose who confess Christianity in America can only imagine living with real anti-Christian persecution, with neighbors, police officials and governments hating you because of your faith.  Well, this example should give gratitude for the U.S.A.

Meriam Ibrahim, a 27-year old Sudanese woman, had been sentenced to death for apostasy, because she married a Christian.  During her four-month prison sentence, as she awaited death, Meriam gave birth to her second child, a girl she named Maya, while her 18- month-old son, Martin, stood by her side.

Associated Press reporter, Mohamed Osman exposits:  “Ibrahim, whose father was Muslim but who was raised by her Christian mother, was convicted of apostasy for marrying a Christian. Sudan’s penal code forbids Muslims from converting to other religions, a crime punishable by death.

“Ibrahim married a Christian man from southern Sudan in a church ceremony in 2011. As in many Muslim nations, Muslim women in Sudan are prohibited from marrying non-Muslims, though Muslim men can marry outside their faith. By law, children must follow their father’s religion.”

But last week the Sudan Court of Cassation cancelled the death sentence and ordered her release.  However, that release came after months of international outrage. “The U.S. State Department said it was “deeply disturbed” by the sentence and called on the Sudanese government to respect religious freedoms.”

American politicians had hoped that the couple and their children would then be free to come to the United States. Sudan, to the North, has been under Shariah law since the 1980s, when Christian South Sudan split from Sudan. Osman adds: “A number of Sudanese have been convicted of apostasy in recent years, but they all escaped execution by recanting their new faith.”

But Meriam refused to renounce her faith in Christ. According to Harriet Sherwood of theguardian.com, “ . . . she was given three days to renounce her faith or face a death sentence. She refused to recant, telling the court: “I am a Christian and I am not an apostate.” Now, that’s a true Christian.

Then, as they were at the airport waiting to board a plane to the U.S., one day after her release, Meriam, her husband and her two children were detained by 40 armed security officers! “Men claiming to be Ibrahim’s relatives, whose allegations against her triggered the court case, had threatened to carry out the death sentence if she was released from prison. Ibrahim denied knowing them.”

Her husband, Wani, an American citizen, told Sherwood:  “ . . . those who had triggered the case against his wife were trying to get their hands on her business interests, which include a hair salon, mini-mart and agricultural land.”Meriam Ibrahim in Sudan

Finally, this weekend, the family was released “under orders that Meriam stay in Sudan,” which claims she attempted to travel with an ‘illegal’ South Sudan passport. Apparently the family waits for resolution in the American embassy.

Hmm. How many Christians in America would willingly die for their faith in Christ?  As Christian adult fiction books cite Apostle Paul: “If we suffer, we shall also reign with Him: if we deny Him, he also will deny us (2 Timothy 2: 12)!”

Alleged Museum Killer Confirms Western Europe’s Fears About Syria

posted by Dr. Jael Ever @ 10:19 AM
June 12, 2014

Jewish-Museum-Belgium-killings    The alleged killer of three victims at a Jewish Museum in Belgium recently was arrested in France, and European police officials cringe at confirmation that he learned to hate and kill by joining the war in Syria, because so many other European Muslims now fight in that Civil War and will soon return ‘home’.

Arrested in the port city of Marseille, 29-year-old French citizen, Mehdi Nemmouche was found to have “in his possession a gun, a Kalashnikov assault rifle, and a video camera, used in the Brussels attack,” says tomgrossmedia.com. His gun was wrapped in a sheet scrawled with the Islamic State of Iraq and indicating his membership the Levant, an extremist group fighting in Syria.

Gross reveals that the suspect visited Syria last year, apparently with links to Syrian jihadists. “Nemmouche was meant to have been under surveillance, according to intelligence sources, following his return from Syria, but as is the case with hundreds of other European jihadis returning from Syria, the surveillance is less than perfect.” He was arrested after boarding a bus coming from Amsterdam.

In ‘Suspect in Jewish Museum Killings Went to Syria,’ Angela Charlton and John-Thor Dahlburg from AP set forth: “Fears have been mounting in European countries that the hundreds of European radicals who are joining the fight in Syria against President Bashar Assad could stage attacks when they get home.”

The two also point out that Nemmouche has “a criminal record, with seven convictions for crimes like attempted france_jihad jpg size xxlarge letterboxrobbery––but nothing related to terrorism.”  Belgium prosecutor Frederic Van Leeuw told them: “The new elements in this investigation draw attention once more to the problem of the ‘returnees’—in other words the people going to Syria to participate in combat and return afterward to our country. All European countries are confronted with this problem.”

Illustrating the fears officials hold for European-born Muslims trained in Syria, english.rfi.fr/france writes:  “French anti-terror police have arrested six young men believed to have gone to Syria to fight with radical Islamist groups just two weeks after the government’s announcement of a new anti-jihadi plan.”

Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve posits:  “It’s a new demonstration of the government’s complete determination to do everything in its power to fight terrorism and the indoctrination of young people.”

Another AP reporter, Elaine Ganley, confirms in ‘Jewish Museum Killings Lay Bare Europe’s Fears of Returning Syrian Fighters,’ that “Between 1,000 and 1,500 Europeans may currently be fighting in Syria . . . France feels particularly vulnerable because it has the highest estimated number of youths heading to Syria or fighting there—about 700. Each one who returns represents a potential threat . . . and the challenge to track them all is huge.”

Citizens in Western Europe (and perhaps in the United States as well) struggle with identity. What is the language, racial and ethnic identity of Europeans? And how do Middle-eastern born Muslims fit that identity? If such group’s don’t fit, why are they so liberally imported and given citizenship?

Moreover in these days of border refugee crossings, millions of displaced persons, and deceivers who falsely accept new citizenships, the only safe identity is in Christ Jesus. As Christian mystery fiction argues: “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (2 Corinthians 5:17).”

What Really Happened to Malaysia Air Flight MH370?, Part One

posted by Dr. Jael Ever @ 17:41 PM
March 25, 2014

AP_malaysia_airlines_conference_jef_140310_16x9_608    Malaysian authorities have now ‘determined’ Flight MH 370 crashed into the Indian Ocean.  But their more difficult task is to convince skeptical families of victims, and the general public, that what they try to ‘sell’ is provable fact.

Airline and government officials in Malaysia claim their conclusions are based on “extraordinary evidence.” But naysayers demand to see such evidence.
This disputed ‘evidence’ comes from Inmarsat, the British company which read satellite analysis, along with Britain’s Air Accident Investigation Branch.

Chris McLaughlin, senior vice president of Inmarsat, tells CNN their mathematics-based process is ‘groundbreaking,’ and that space agency experts and Boeing had reviewed their conclusions. Again, empty words providing no proof.

Arthur Rosenberg, an aviation attorney, questions Inmarsat’s careful language, and that of the Malaysian government:  “On the one hand, you have the executive from Inmarsat saying ‘most likely’ and somehow that got booted up to ‘beyond reasonable doubt.’ Implying Malaysian officials stretch the truth, he says:

“I am not convinced that they are certain where this airplane is. I think they have fine-tuned it to a general area, but to say beyond a reasonable doubt this plane went down where they are saying is a stretch.”

The Chinese government is equally suspicious about Malaysia’s conclusions.  According to Lucy Kinder, Hannah Strange, Arron Merat, and Bonnie Malkin of telegraph.co.uk.: “Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister Xie Hangsheng has told Malaysia’s ambassador in Beijing that China was demanding Malaysia hand over all relevant satellite data analysis on the missing Malaysian airliner.”

McLaughlin told Kinder, et al: “We worked out where the last ping was, and we knew that the plane must have run Malaysia-Flight-MH370-Pingout of fuel before the next automated ping, but we didn’t know what speed the aircraft was flying at––we assumed about 450 knots.  We can’t know when the fuel actually ran out, we can’t know whether the plane plunged or glided, and we can’t know whether the plane at the end of the time in the air was flying more slowly because it was on fumes.”

In China relatives of victims staged a massive protest and issued this statement:  “At 10 pm on March 25, the Malaysian prime minister sent a statement to the families of MH370 passengers without any direct evidence that MH370 crashed in the south Indian ocean and no people survived.

“From March 8 when they announced that MH370 lost contact to today, 18 days have passed during which the Malaysian government and military constantly tried to delay, deceive the passengers’ families and cheat the whole world. This shameless behavior not only fooled and hurt the families of the 154 passengers but also misguided and delayed rescue actions, wasting a large quantity of human resources and materials and lost valuable time for the rescue effort.

“If the 154 passengers did lose their lives, Malaysia Airlines, the Malaysian government and military are the real executioners who killed them. We the families of those on board submit our strongest protest against them. We will take every possible means to pursue the unforgivable crimes and responsibility of all three.”

Malaysia, aided by its ex-colonial ruler, Britain, may want to move this incident off media’s front page, but it won’t go away.  There are simply too many other possibilities as to where Flight MH 370 might be.  As Christian mystery fiction incurs about all human life: “As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed (2 Corinthians 6: 9).”

Why No One ‘Believes’ A 19 Year Old Girl Killed 22+ People

posted by Dr. Jael Ever @ 14:28 PM

Miranda-Barbour-Serial-Killer    Why do law enforcement officials and journalists refuse to believe nineteen-year-old satanist Miranda Barbour when she admits, that as a member of a satanic organization, she killed 20 to 100 people in various states around the country?

Is it because they do not believe that groups of people serving Satan can roam the roads killing as they are instructed by secret organizations? Or is it because they actually know the number of individuals who turn up missing or dead in this country every year, particularly on specific high witchcraft feast days?

Now known as the ‘Craigslist Killer’ because she met her last known victim, Troy LaFerrara of Port Trevorton, Pennsylvania, through an internet ad for casual sex, Miranda claims “participation in slayings in Alaska, Texas, North Carolina and California” as a member of a Satanic cult.  dailyitem.com says further:

“Asked . . . how many people she had killed, Miranda Barbour answered:  ‘When I hit 22, I stopped counting.‘ I can pinpoint on a map where you can find them.” Her husband of three weeks, Elytte Barbour, 22, joined her in LaFerrara’s killing.  Miranda says they would not have killed LaFerrara had he not confessed to  being a child rapist. Her uncle had raped her when she just four years old.

When she was 13, Miranda joined a Satanic cult in Alaska, where she admitted to participating in several cult killings: “I wasn’t always there (mentally), I knew something was bad inside me and the satanic beliefs brought it out. I embraced it.” In their comprehensive article, dailyitem.com adds:

“She left Alaska as a high-ranking official in the satanic world, leaving the father of her second pregnancy, a man named Forest, the No. 2 leader in their cult, who was murdered.” Police share Miranda’s claims with officials in other states.

Perhaps skeptics can be convinced with some historical context. In the 1980s two serial killers named of Henry Henry_Lee_Lucas_and_Ottis_Toole (3)Lee Lucas and Ottis Toole were convicted of killing 11 people, but were known to have been on a cross-country murder spree.  Wikipedia reports:  “Lucas would later claim that during this period he had killed hundreds of people, with Toole assisting him in 108 murders.”

These two traveled the country to kill assigned victims during heathen celebrations hidden in woods or underground basements on high witchcraft feast days, such as Halloween, which is New Years Day in the witchcraft world.

Other celebrated days in witch kingdoms include: Winter Solstice on December 21st, the Spring Equinox on March 21st, the Summer Solstice on June 21st, etc.   For example, probable sacrifice victim, Solcireth Liriano-Cruz, age 15, of Framingham, Massachusetts, disappeared Halloween night last year. Another child was found missing in the same area on the next high witchcraft feast day.

Ask the Center for Missing and Exploited Children how many known child kidnappings occur during those days.  Better still, ask local and national police forces.  They know. To avoid arousing the public, they just pretend not to know.

Satanism thrives when Christianity is weak, and its leaders feign ignorance. Accounts like Miranda’s will increase unless Christian leaders fight Satanism in the crucible ‘kneeology’ battle of prayer, especially for police who face such cases every day:  “For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil (Romans 13: 4).”

Cold War Reheats: U.S. EU NATO Warn Russia Re Ukraine/Crimea

posted by Dr. Jael Ever @ 3:22 AM
March 1, 2014

Russian-army        Today at 8:00 p.m. EST, the President of the United States warned Russia to back away from confrontation with Ukraine, and that Russia’s military in the Crimea represents “a profound interference in matters that must be determined by the Ukrainian people” and would be “a clear violation” of international law.

Karen DeYoung of the Washington Post further quotes the President: “[T]he United States will stand with the international community in affirming that there will be costs for any military intervention in Ukraine.  Just days after the world came to Russia for the Olympic games, it would invite the condemnation of nations around the world.

“Any violation of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity would be deeply destabilizing, which is not in the interests of Ukraine, Russia or Europe.”  In addition, the U.S. Vice President called Ukraine’s new Deputy Prime Minister “to assure him that in this difficult moment, the United States supports his government’s efforts.”

In ‘Top Ukrainians Accusing Russia OF AN INVASION,’ Michael D. Shear and Andrew Higgins, for The New York Times, open with:  “Ukraine’s fragile new government accused Russia of trying to provoke a military conflict on Friday by invading the Crimea region.”

Russia has moved several military units into Crimea––a spot situated between Russia and Ukraine and heavily men-tankpopulated with native Russians––taking over Crimea’s two main airports.  Ukraine’s U.N. Ambassador, Yuriy Sergeyev, told the United Nations Security Council that 10 Russian military transport IL-76 aircraft and 11 military attack helicopters had illegally crossed Ukraine’s borders.

According to Shear and Higgins, “Analysts said the increase in the Russian presence in the area had parallels to steps Russia took before beginning a war with Georgia in 2008 over the largely ethnic Russian regions of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, but there was little to indicate whether President Vladimir V. Putin intended to escalate the challenge to Ukraine.”
Russia justifies its actions because Ukraine’s ousted ex-president, Victor Viktor Yanukovych, held a press conference in Russia today, claiming he is still the President of Ukraine, and that the nation has been taken over by terrorists.

Meanwhile, the United States has pledged to augment support Ukraine should soon receive from the International Monetary Fund.  Gerry Rice, IMF spokesman, says “We are talking to all interested parties.”

Russia’s major problem is either identifying itself as a thuggish rogue ‘tribal’ nation, unwilling to negotiate without pointing weapons, or as a leading 21st century First World nation unwilling to resort to such primitive behavior.

If the U.S., U.N. and E.U. cannot convince Russia to enter this post-modern struggle to maintain peace, all nations should fully prepare for World War III. Russia already strongly backs Syria––home of the coming anti-Christ––in its civil war, and instigates revolts in Egypt, the Middle East and Latin America.

Anti-Christian fiction cajoles Russia into thinking it will win such wars, but God’s Word aligns the nation with Satan:  “And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.  And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority (Revelation 13: 1 – 2).” Russia is always symbolized as “a bear.”

Not Much Good News: A Year’s Review of 2013 Month by Month, Part 2

posted by Dr. Jael Ever @ 17:35 PM
January 6, 2014

syriarotate    The last half of 2013, should have left no doubt in human consciousness that present generations indeed live in the last days.  The world seems to be coming apart at the seams. Violence accelerates in most corners of the globe. Governments exert more control on populations. And only artificial peace brings fleeting relief.

Last June, Edward Snowden exposed, through The Guardian newspapers, the National Security Agency’s apparent world-wide spying operations through computer and telephone networks.  The upheaval of his revelations continue to dominated world news, whether in Europe, Latin America or the United States.

The next month, the world watched in shock as the newly-elected President of Egypt, Mohammed Morsi, resigned after continuous street demonstrations by the vast majority of the nation’s population. On July 4th, Egypt’s military squashed Morsi’s presidency.  Overt reasons included Morsi, a Moslem Brotherhood member, persistently pushing Sharia law.  However, although newly elected leaders as well as the Egyptian military, do everything possible to restore complete order, the Brotherhood continues to rain havoc on Egypt.

To make sure that the world’s eyes remained on the Middle East, not only Egypt but Syria came to the forefront. In a Civil War raging since Spring, 2011, in August, enemies of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad accused him of using chemical warfare.  infoplease.com presented photos of “victims foaming at the mouth and twitching” to validate the estimated 1,429 killed with lethal gases.
U.N. and U.S. workers now try to defuse the gases under ocean waters.

Mass violence came to the U.S. in September when a gunman, Aaron Alexis, 34, who had previously begged attention for severe mental disturbances, entered the Washington D.C. Navy Yard, right near the U.S. Capitol, and DC+Navy+yard+shooting+NBCkilled 12 people.  Despite his and other warnings about allowing the mentally ill to acquire fire arms, laws have still not been passed against it in most states and on federal levels.

In October a divided Congress allowed the U.S. government to shut down from the 1st to the 16th, throwing many workers into financial chaos, destroying the life’s work of many scientists who depended upon government storage areas, and presenting images of callous indifference and incompetence before the world.

November brought more shame to circles of the U.S. government when the extent of corruption within the Federal Bureau of Investigation was evidenced during the trial of notorious gangster Whitey Bulger.  Aware of his murderous record, the Agency used him as a major informant. Moving beyond its shores, the U.S. tested China’s new air defense zone over islands in the East China Seas.

Finally, the nation ended the year with another school shooting on December 13th.  An angry 18-year old Karl Halverson Pierson entered Arapahoe High School in Centennial, Colorado, fully loaded with guns and automatic rifles prepared to kill a teacher, and instead shot, eventually killing, another student Claire Davis.

How many other reminders do American officials need to take charge of violence in this nation.  Or do some of them want it to become another Egypt or Syria.  Only powerful prayers from earnest Christians can withstand such evil planning.  As Christian adult fiction books illustrate such prayer mows down mountains of enemy resistance: “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers (Acts 2: 42).”
