First World War Angels Of The Lord May Have Been Real

angel wings whiteThere are many people that believe that angels intervened in the first world war. I am not sure whether this was true or not, but I am always intrigued to hear different stories about it. I have always wanted to believe in angels, and some people have such vivid stories about them that it seems like they certainly must exist.

The Bible talks about angels being able to intervene in wars on occasion. There were many religious people who fought in the first world war, so it may actually be true that there were angels involved since God surely would have heard all of the prayers. I have always been very fascinated by tales of angels and they are always very encouraging.

Miracles do happen on occasion and you hear stories about them all the time. I like to think that there are angels watching over me and helping me out on a daily basis. The first world war angels of the lord may actually have been there and I am excited to find out more about this interesting topic. I like to read newspaper clippings about it and to read about what the people who saw the angels said. I love sharing my perspectives with others as well.

Final End-Time Test: Battle for a Nation’s Christian Soul

Islamisation        France wages a public fight against Islamic militants on the basis that it is a ‘secular’––i.e. non-Christian––nation. Even non-militant Muslims express offense at this identification as they are proud of, and strongly believe in, their faith. In contrast, Christians in France generally say nothing about the issue.

Such silence may be worse than denial, for Islamic extremists fight not a political, but a religious war. While they use the Muslim religion for a cover, in reality they break most of the rules of Islam in their evil quest for absolute Satanic power. These tactics by advance troops clear nations for arrival of the anti-Christ.

Thus, while most of Europe increases their police tactics against these extremists (i.e. France, Belgium, England, etc.), they fight a losing battle unless their arms are reinforced by strong Christian prayers and intercession.  As Axis and Allies history world war explains in 2 Thessalonians 2: 3 – 7:

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God,

“ . . . or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.”

“He who lets” is the Body of Christ, or rather the core of Christian population, the prayer warriors, or intercessors standing against evil in a great spiritual battle. One aspect of the falling away is weakened Christianity. Satan cannot advance such radical forces unless Christians around the world stand against him in prayer, nation by nation, kingdom by kingdom.

For instance, In ‘How Boko Haram’s Murders and Kidnappings Are Changing Nigeria’s Churches,’ Boko-Haram-burns-Christians-aliveTimothy C. Morgan points out:  “Boko Haram is an extremist Islamic organization. In 1992, the Islamic community expressed its desire, along with the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC), to make all of Nigeria a Muslim state. [Nigeria is an OIC member.] Over 90 percent of buildings destroyed by Boko Haram are Christian churches.”

This is the goal: to convert a nation from a Christian identity to a radical Islamic identity. Thus, by declaring itself a secular state, France is already half-way there. As Morgan continues:  “Boko Haram wants to eliminate the churches because they are unacceptable to Muslims. They don’t want Christians in the Muslim areas, so they bomb those places of worship, or refuse to give them a license to worship. Is the government turning a blind eye to these attacks?

“The government is doing something, but the problem is beyond its ability. Even moderate Muslims fear for their lives. One Islamic scholar and two imams have been killed.” Again, peaceful or moderate Muslims conflict with Satan’s goal.

As did France, Christians, politicians and others in the United States must decide if they will fight to hold onto their identity as a Christian nation. Of course, this will include disavowal of non-Christian practices, to ultimately save the nation from the same type of Nigeria’s bloody struggle––before it is too late!

Russia-Ukraine-world-war-3    Reminding one of Napoleon––another very short man whose complexes about height and imagined nation-greatness made him the first antiChrist figure––Vladimir Putin insanely yearns to start a really hot multi-sized World War III.

In the last few weeks, the Russian President threatens to drop nuclear bombs if Western nations interfere with his assault on Ukraine.  He has sent scrambling jets to signal possible attacks over the U.S., Canada, Britain, The Netherlands, Japan and other NATO nations.

With his usual grandiose fashion, this ‘miniature’ man of greatness tells news outlets that Russia “is a great country with many ‘ready to drop’ nuclear weapons.” Utopia: the Collapse writes: “Vladimir Putin talked about his country’s most destructive weaponry”: “I want to remind you that Russia is one of the most powerful nuclear nations. . .This is a reality, not just words. Russia is strengthening our nuclear deterrence forces.”

Moreover, Russia particularly aims its ‘practice’ nuclear offenses to target the U.S. In ‘Russian Strategic Bombers Near Canada Practice Cruise Missile Strikes on US,’ Bill Gertz exclaims: “Two Russian strategic bombers conducted practice cruise missile attacks on the United States during a training mission . . . that defense officials say appeared timed to the NATO summit in Wales.

“The Russian Tu-95 Bear bombers were flying a route across the northern Atlantic near Iceland, Greenland and Canada . . Analysis indicated the aircraft were conducting practice runs to a pre-determined ‘launch box’—an optimum point for firing nuclear-armed cruise missiles at U.S. targets, said defense officials. . . .”

Utopia: the Collapse says further that Russia recently revised its 2010 military doctrine and now identifies the United article-2762225-215BE97D00000578-18_634x519States and NATO as official enemies of Russia, apparently to justify “a preemptive nuclear strike.” Thus, Putin’s jets have also made practice runs over Great Britain, The Netherlands, etc. He claims it would only take him two days to invade Europe.

Zachary Stieber quotes the Russian leader in ‘World War 3: Vladimir Putin Threatens Ukraine and Also Says Russia Could Invade Europe Within Two Days’: “While troops could move that swiftly, Putin apparently conceded that it would take up to two weeks to actually capture Kiev. . . it would be the first time Putin has threatened to invade any NATO or European Union member countries.

“If Mr Putin were to act on this, Britain could find itself at war with Russia. All five countries mentioned in this alleged conversation are members of both the EU and NATO.” This is how WWII mushroomed to global conflict.  As Axis and Allies history world war explains, unified nations committed themselves to war.

No, despite what some Bible scholars claim, Putin is not the final anti-Christ.  As the books of Daniel and Revelation, etc. reveal, that final one was born in Syria and is probably fighting now for ISIS––just as Hitler, another insane man and the second anti-Christ figure––fought in World War I before his rise to power in World War II.  That final anti-Christ will cut Putin down to size: “But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many (Daniel 11: 44).”

U.S. Police Trained & Equipped to Go to War––Against Americans Pt 2

posted by Dr. Jael Ever @ 7:00 AM
August 16, 2014

Police-in-Military-Gear    Change of non-military type tactics in Ferguson brings apparent relief.  But militarized police are growing threats in the United States and around the world. A ‘free’ democracy cannot operate under unaccountable militarized police control.

In ‘State of Play’, a journalist, portrayed by Russell Crowe, meets with a man from a U.S.-owned world-wide civilian para-military group who informs him that ‘Homeland Security’ means militarization of civilian police forces.

Wikipedia defines the film’s theme as:  “ . . . explores the topical subject of privatization of American Homeland Security and to a minor extent journalistic independence, along with the relationship between politicians and the press.”

The journalist meets with a mysterious man code-named, Collins (portrayed by David Harbour), who tells him that this military equipment operation is a monopoly for the sale of government surveillance and defense contracts essentially to privatize United States security away from the government.

Now, it is finally obvious that a film made seven years ago tells the truth! The entire concept of ‘Homeland Security’ came about from a hastily-arranged conglomeration of various government agencies after the panic of 911.  Now, it turns out that the agency provides weapons for foxes to guard the hen house.

Moreover, the international implications are also astounding. The movie is an adaptation of a British television mini-series, also titled ‘State of Play’. In both dramas, politicians want journalists to stay out of their business of ‘protecting the homeland’.  Just as journalists were harassed and arrested this week in Ferguson, Missouri, they are threatened, jailed and even murdered across the world by government forces who claim they are protecting their ‘homeland.’

But Americans are waking up! Outcries around the nation call for demilitarizing police forces. As Elizabeth R. Beavers and Michael Shank write in, ‘Get the Military Off of Main Street,’ for today’s New York Times:

“Ferguson, Mo., has become a virtual war zone. In the wake of the shooting of an unarmed black teenager, Michael Brown, outsize armored vehicles have lined streets and tear gas has filled the air. Officers dressed in camouflage uniforms from Ferguson’s 53-person police force have pointed M-16s at the very citizens they are sworn to protect and serve.

“Due to the defense industry’s bloated contracts, there is a huge surplus. . . Pentagon has donated military Military-Equipment-for-Policeequipment worth more than $4 billion to local law enforcement agencies. . . the Department of Homeland Security . . .  distributed more than $34 billion . . . enabling local police departments to acquire such absurd items as a surveillance drone and an Army tank.”

However, Americans should not think ending such planned militarization of the nation’s police forces will be easy.  As axis and allies history world war warned decades ago, defense industries have a vested interest in selling weapons of war.

Just as it’s military dumped ‘old’ armaments in Iraq that are now controlled by ISIS extremists, defense contractors will not easily relinquish their markets in American cities. Only after they fill air and space with world-wide wars will they submit to God’s laws of peace: “And He shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more (Isaiah 2: 4).”

Face Facts! For Those Who Still Don’t Believe World War III Is Near

posted by Dr. Jael Ever @ 16:31 PM
July 14, 2014

storm-1 (3)    Those who still don’t believe that all nations in one way or another now prepare for World War III, certain undeniable facts should be self evident:  1) Consider the murderously formed new radical Muslim nation of ISIS wretched from Syria and Iraq; 2) New ground and air war between Israel and Hamas in Palestine;

3) Now millions of refugees or displaced persons running away from war or criminal activity around the world; 4) Russia’s continuing war in East Ukraine, along with its take-over of Crimea, and the fears of other post-Soviet countries that they will be next; 5) Japan’s re-militarization readying itself to face China, and other Far East destabilization, as in Hong Kong and North and South Korea.

6) Growing antiSemitism in Europe, while Muslim populations there expand; 7) Western Europe’s total unpreparedness for the coming  War as in the days before World War I and World War II.

8) Western and Northern nations in Africa under constant attack from Muslim extremists continually fermenting civil wars through kidnappings, village and church destruction, undermining already weak governments;

9) Fragile economies in the U.S. Europe, Central and South America, the Middle East and elsewhere, where 2011-top-10-defense-budgetsmiddle-class families struggle to stay out of poverty, while the wealth of a few continuously grows––all possibly leading to economic depression––another historical trigger point of world war, while at the same time Russia and China wage economic and trade wars against the U.S.

(10) The U. S., Western Europe and most countries are morally unprepared for war. Downfalls of military leaders for moral indiscretions, celebrations of extra-sexual identifies, increasing idolatrous worship of sports and movie stars, and weakness of true journalism reporting; 11) Unrelenting, and often vicious, political divisions in the United States and Europe weakening national readiness;  12) Attacks on Christians in the Middle East, Far East, Africa and the U.S.

This Blog will cover most in these issues in the coming weeks.  One may say, “Well all these things have happened before.” Yes, some of them have, but never have presented such turmoil all at the same time. To deny that this world is facing another World War, is no different from those who deny that Global Warming is real, and that it will likewise destroy the earth.

Thoughtful pundits know these are the most dangerous times in history. And many write about it. On, Cory answered a reader’s question ‘Is world war 3 near?’:  “So to answer your question we are close to war, Is it inevitable ? I don’t think so, Is it likely? Yes I think it is.  Although I think World War 3 will happen in the next 10 years, I don’t think it will be a nuclear conflict.

“So if war breaks out the nuclear nations will probably sign a treaty that agrees not to use them. But you can’t really know what a nation that is about to be beaten or destroyed will do, especially a country like North Korea.” And ISIS!

As Scriptures foretell in Axis and Allies history World War, only Almighty God can prevent such wars:  “The LORD of Hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is Our Refuge. Selah [i.e. pause and think of that]. He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; He breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; He burneth the chariot in the fire. Be still, and know that I Am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth (Psalms 46: 7 – 10).” So Pray to Him!

Europe, Asia, Africa, Americas: U.S. Quietly Prepares for World War 3

posted by Dr. Jael Ever @ 10:12 AM
May 2, 2014

UKRAINE-RUSSIA-CRISIS-POLITICS    In many ways, various moves by American leaders––in addition to public statements and sanctions against Russia for its actions in Ukraine––may indicate the U.S. is preparing for World War III.  This is especially so when one attempts to look beyond veils of news reports, to surmise what leaders know in secret.

For instance, one can easily assume that during his recent travels to Asia, ostensibly for trade negotiations, the President not only warned China about a few disputed islands, but also stealthy advised that nation not to following Russia over the abyss of world war.  Nick Simeone of American Forces Press Service writes in ‘Obama: U.S. Treaty Commitment to Japan is “Absolute”:’

“President Barack Obama, making the first state visit by an American president to Japan in nearly two decades, made clear today the United States would be obligated to come to Japan’s defense in any confrontation with China over islands both nations claim in the East China Sea.” He stressed the same about North Korea’s recent nuclear missile tests.

A few days afterward, U.S. Defense Secretary Hagel also visited Japan for joint meetings with pro-American regional defense officials.  Cheryl Pellerin, also from American Forces Press Service, reports:  “The leaders discussed a range of regional security issues [including] Chinese military activities.”

Before going to Tokyo, Secretary Hagel met with defense ministers of the 10 countries––Burma, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam––in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) because “it represents the collective interests of the region.”

Hagel added:  “When you add to [this] the ASEAN Defense Ministers Meeting-Plus members [which consists of the 10 ASEAN defense ministers and defense ministers from the United States, China, Japan, South Korea, Australia, India, New Zealand and Russia] … that’s a significant representation of this part of the world.”  Of course, now, because of Ukraine, Russia would not be in the group.

Just last week Ministers of Defense for the U.S., Canada and Mexico issued a joint statement following the ‘Second Mexico's President Pena Nieto gives a speech during a news conference at the North American Leaders' Summit in TolucaMeeting of North American Defense Ministers’: “Our three countries are closely connected through common geography, strong links between our peoples, and comprehensive trade relations. As such, we share many mutual defense interests.

“Threats to North America and the hemisphere are increasingly complex and require coordinated responses. . . . we remain committed to enhancing our common understanding of those threats and developing effective and efficient approaches needed to address them. . . our countries continue to work together to address the security and defense challenges that our continent faces.”

What could be a threat to North America, beside those countries in South America (i.e. Brazil, Venezuela, etc.) that have allied themselves with Russia? The  next blog will cover the first U.S. troops in Eastern Europe, NATO, more of Russia and China’s significant stakes in Latin America, the Middle East and Africa.

By necessity, in order not to unnecessarily rile the public, political and military leaders often speak in opaque coded language. However, The Commander of First World War angels of The Lord instructs Christians to “be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves (Matthew 10: 16).”

The ‘Knife’ Lost the Battle for Now: East Ukraine Is Russia’s Too

posted by Dr. Jael Ever @ 9:00 AM
April 29, 2014

masked-thugs-Ukraine        While Russia writhes over new sanctions from the United States and Europe, that nation’s masked thugs and secret service masqueraded as ‘pro-Russian forces’ seems to have accomplished President Putin’s goal: control over eastern Ukraine.

The same masked forces already ‘stole’ Crimea without firing a shot, and now realistically it must be admitted that they have taken the eastern third of the beleaguered nation with only discharging a few weapons.

As Putin stalled for time by promising the West that he would withdraw from Ukraine’s eastern border and call his faceless thugs back to Russia, instead he ordered them to take the headquarters of city after city in their coveted areas.

They don’t care if the rest of Ukraine holds free and fair elections next month, they will see to it that Ukrainians in the East don’t vote for unity.  And after the voting is done,  they will declare the autonomy of East Ukraine as a separate nation, or––as in the case of Crimea––as a rejoined part of Russia.

Putin’s stalling about withdrawals after his ministers signed agreements to do so, his wails about new sanctions from the U.S. and Europe, and Western media’s quickness to laud their effectiveness, all served him as distractions. Meanwhile, he has done nothing but take over city after city in East Ukraine!

Western media cannot continue to cloud over the obvious: Ukrainians have few weapons. Their ex-President, Yanukovych, stole over $32 billion dollars from Ukraine’s treasury, took it back to Russia, and gave the funds to Putin to start this take-over of East Ukraine, which was always Yanukovych,’s home base. (See Ida Well’s post in today.)  Putin’s troops on Ukraine’s borders are simply insurance to make sure it all happens as planned.

Unless the U.S. and E.U. will give Ukrainians’ arms to resist this take-over, or unless they will send troops Hands-off-Ukraine-Putinthemselves to root out this evil––and they have insisted they will do neither––Putin has accomplished his primary goal of further expanding Russia and re-taking ex-Soviet countries.

And what does it all mean?  As in the beginning of World War II, the U.S. and its European allies have behaved as distinguished diplomats should.  But at the same time, Russian aggressors have simply laid the groundwork for the start of World War III, although those same diplomats do not want to admit it is happening.

History proves that placing blind faith in evil leaders is the downfall of unprepared nations. (See ‘The King’s Speech’ illustrating that only Winston Churchill recognized that Hitler’s evil could solely be stopped by all out war.)

Putin’s vindictive cleverness has also kept media eyes away from: Syria’s civil war, Turkey’s rumbles toward fascist control and Egypt’s Nazi-like boot against protesters. But ultimately these are his axis. They march in step with him.

It may take some time for them to get parts of Europe, Asia and Africa in line through radical Muslim take-overs, but as Axis and Allies history world war stresses, only The Hand of God will end this Final World War:

“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He doth judge and make war.  And out of His mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations: and He shall rule them with a rod of iron: and He treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God (Revelation 19: 11 – 16).”

Guess Which Side We’re On: The Other ‘Almost’ War: China vs. Japan

posted by Dr. Jael Ever @ 18:46 PM
April 9, 2014

330px-Battle_of_Songhwan_improved    It may only be traditional bluster, or the need to justify rising military costs, but U.S. officials express genuine concern about China and Japan’s preparations for war. Both Secretary of State John Kerry and Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel made clear the U.S. would back Japan. Such a war is a giant step toward WW3.

First, understand that these two countries have a long history of hatred and war. Historically Japan labels itself a superior empire and gave itself the right to rule over China militarily in order to confiscate that country’s extensive economic resources.  Known as the Sino-Japanese War, the first one occurred from 1894-95.

After several localized ‘fights,’ the Second Sino-Japanese War  began in 1937 after Japan invaded Manchuria and instigated the Marco Polo Bridge Incident.  When the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor in 1941, their war with China morphed into Europe’s World War II, and China and the U.S. became allies.

According to Agence France-Presse, before he visited China last month, Kerry met with Japan’s Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida “and reaffirmed the 1960 treaty that commits the United States to protect its ally against attacks.”

Secretary Hagel recently spoke with even more sternness toward Japan when visiting Toyko this week:  “All nations deserve respect, no matter how large or how small.  I think we’re seeing some clear evidence of a lack of respect, and coercion and intimidation with … what the Russians have done in Ukraine.”

He backed his words with promises to send Japan two more Aegis missile defense warships. These will join a second early warning U.S. radar, P-8 maritime surveillance aircraft and plans to bring unmanned Global Hawk drones already deployed.  Hagel also included North Korea in his warnings against war.

Hagel is now in China advising China leaders that their dispute with Japan over some rather ‘useless’ islands should be solved by diplomacy, not by war or posturing for war.  But China avers that Japan’s conservative government started the dispute by:  1) Nationalizing those islands in the fall of 2012; 2) Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s pilgrimage to the Yasukuni Shrine honoring 2.5 million Japanese war dead including convicted war criminals; and 3) Justifying the use of Chinese and South Korean women as ‘comfort women’ or sex slaves during WW2.

Justified or not, Perry Chiaramonte of Fox News insists: “China is practicing for a “short, sharp war” with Japan.” 180713_kienthuc_05_china navy_URMPCapt. James Fannell, deputy chief of staff intelligence and information operations for the U.S. Pacific Fleet, Fannell added:  “We witnessed the massive amphibious and cross-military region enterprise.

“We concluded that the PLA (People’s Liberation Army) has been given the new task to be able to conduct a short, sharp war to destroy Japanese forces in the East China Sea following with what can only be expected a seizure of the Senkakus Island or even a southern Ryukyu Island.”

Minnie Chan of writes:  “China and Japan moved closer to armed conflict after Beijing established its first air defence identification zone last November in the East China Sea. Ex-PLO officer Luo Yuan tells Chan that Capt. Fannell’s analysis is accurate: “. . . a war with Japan over territorial disputes is becoming increasingly likely . . . China is more than capable of defending itself.”

Surely Christians on all sides of Axis and Allies history World War pray with Apostle John: “ . . . Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus (Revelation 22: 20);” for     “He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire (Psalm 46: 9.”

Russia’s Grab of Crimea to Bolster Its Population and Economy

posted by Dr. Jael Ever @ 18:14 PM
March 31, 2014

Russian-drunkeness    Why did prominent scholars and deep-digging investigative journalists figure out years ago that Russia would invade Ukraine and other post-Soviet Union countries, and American politicians and spy agencies did not? Good question!

Zachary Keck, Ilan Berman and an AFP journalists all foresaw that Putin would invade countries with vast Russian populations in order to increase diminishing numbers of ethnic Russians still living in Russia.

In, Zachary Keck wrote: “Russia is doomed over the long-term, and its short-term maneuvers aren’t enough to compensate for this fact.  Traditionally, Russian power has rested on four pillars: population, energy, weaponry and geography. Three of these are diminishing.”

Keck argues the lost of population began in World War II:  “ . . . the Soviet Union lost somewhere between 22 and 28 million people during WWII. To put this in perspective, the United States and Great Britain each lost less than half a million people and even Germany only lost between 7 and 9 million lives during the war.

“Yet like most of Europe, Russia has recently seen its population dwindle even as countries like China, India and much of the third world have seen sharp rises in their own populations.”

The only pillar left is energy, and in ‘Putin and the Laws of Gravity,’ Thomas Friedman establishes that even as the prices of traditional gas and oil energies decline, major economies increasingly turn to solar and wind power alternatives.

Additionally, AFP News Service published ‘Vladimir Putin Vows to Reverse Russian Population Decline,’ in two years ago. Putin promised:  “If we manage to formulate and implement an effective complex people-saving strategy, Russia’s population will go up to 154 million.”

Granted he claimed to be speaking about addressing social issues such as drugs, alcoholism, suicides, growing violence and murders, but taking over former Soviet nations is certainly an easier way to address declining populations.

In his groundbreaking book, ‘Implosion: The End of Russia and What It Means for America,’ published last year, Ilan Berman easily established that Russia’s population declines to points of extinction within a few decades.

With the fall of the Soviet Union, Russian rulers can no longer order citizens to stay or go to a specific place.  Thus, in addition to extremely heavy abortion statistics, Russian citizens are leaving the country in droves.

Like Friedman, Berman posits that Putin’s economic plan is always based on the present, not evolving possibilities of the future. Based on his observations in the last five years, Berman even insisted last year that Russians citizens would eagerly go to war to force such countries as Poland and Ukraine back into Russia.

The question is why couldn’t American officials–-especially its spy networks––see these inevitable truths before Russia invaded Ukraine.  Why could they not see that within their souls, Russia yearns to be a rich, great empire again, and that they will increasingly go to war to make that happen.

However, axis and allies history world war proves that time cannot be reversed. Russia wants its empire back. So do Syria, Iran and Iraq. Of course, the Holy Roman Empire insists that it still has its empire within the European Union.  But then, God’s Word says “Where there is no vision, the people perish (Proverbs 29: 18).” But with their wrong visions, billions of people will perish in WWIII.

More Things Fall Apart: Venezuela Fights Legacy of Dead Leader

posted by Dr. Jael Ever @ 0:07 AM
March 9, 2014

Nicolas-Maduro-2Another country in chaos is Venezuela, where young people constantly demonstrate against the government led by President Nicolas Maduro, who after succeeding deceased leader Hugo Chavez, has amassed a 56% inflation rate, increased the nation’s deficit by 50%, and caused all lenders to downgrade its risk.

Because of its vast oil fields, before Chavez’s death, Venezuela dollar had an 8 to 1 exchange rate with the U.S. dollar.  Today that rate is 87 to 1, making it more difficult for private businesses to line shelves with food and other necessities.

Matt Essert of says “Venezuela [is] already one of the most violent places on Earth—a person is murdered every 21 minutes, and there were roughly 24,700 violent deaths last year—the country is in the throes of a massive shake-up.” Much of this violence stems from mourning Chavez’s death.

Maduro’s answer to these problems is to: 1) Clamp down hard with severe police repression on young demonstrators; 2) Deny economic realities; 3) Blame ‘fascists’ from the United States and other ‘parasitic bourgeoisie’; 4) Charge three American diplomats of conspiring to bring down his government, and expell them with only three days to leave the country; 5) Imprison Leopoldo Lopez, the main opposition leader; and 6) Shut down newspapers and all other media.

He has broken off diplomatic relations with Panama, accusing its president of interfering with Venezuelan affairs.  demonstrations-VenezuelaHe also distrusts the Organization of American States, refusing to allow its officials to mediate the problems: “It will not set food on Venezuelan soil.”  In other words, its everyone’s fault but Maduro’s.

To illustrate the extent of  Maduro’s repression, Harper’s Review writes:  “During political demonstrations in Venezuela’s central Carabobo state, Génesis Carmona, a 22-year-old marketing student and former Miss Tourism, was shot in the head by members of a progovernment militia, and Geraldine Moreno Orozco, a 22-year-old cytotechnology student, was shot in the head by national guardsmen.”

Chavez ruled the country for 14 years until he died last year. Maduro was his vice president. In ‘Venezuela’s Hugo Chávez Died a Year Ago, but the ‘Eternal Commander’ Still Won’t be Silenced,’ Washington Post’s NIck Miroff insists:

“A year after succumbing to cancer at age 58, and with Venezuela left angrily divided and economically crippled after his 14-year-rule, Chávez is dead— but certainly not departed. His speeches and archived weekly “Hello President” programs are regularly rebroadcast on Venezuela’s airwaves. His visage is plastered all over government buildings, hats and T-shirts.” Maduro calls himself a “son of Chavez,” but the people know that he is not Chavez.

Miroff quotes homemaker Desire Gonzalez who visits Chavez’s tomb every Sunday. She says Maduro is “a good president.”  But, Miroff writes, he could not live up the man who has been virtually elevated to sainthood since his death. “I think the problem is that Chávez never taught us how to live without him.”

People must learn to put their trust in God, not in a man, no mater how great a leader he is, or may have been.  Axis and allies history world war proves God’s Word: “It is better to trust in The LORD than to put confidence in man.  It is better to trust in The LORD than to put confidence in princes (Psalm 118: 8-9).”
