Christianity Blossoms in China Despite All Communists Do to Stop It!

China-Still-Persecuting-Christians    China’s worst fears now come to past:  Christianity grows by leaps and bounds in their country regardless of what officials do to stop it.  Little do they know that true Christianity thrives in the midst of persecution. So they piled it on.

Today police harass and arrest pastors; secret service workers follow people suspected of attending home churches; some pastors remain confined to their apartments, especially on weekends; officials tear down ‘official’ church edifices; landlords are forced to evict apartments where churches meet; church members are evicted from their homes and fired from their jobs;

The state often forbids church leaders to purchase property; church meeting places are banned and sealed; police send pastors to labor camps under “suspicion of organizing and using a cult to undermine law enforcement;” evangelism, especially among college students, is strictly forbidden, etc. etc. etc.

When the Community Party in Wenzhou demolished a $ 4.7 million landmark ‘government sanctioned’ church, officials tell Zoe Li of CNN that it was an illegal structure. Li reports in ‘China Denies Church Demolition is Persecution of Christians,’ “officials say the church was an illegal structure.” But Christians claim it is the start of an anti-religious campaign in China!

Decades ago, Chinese officials thought that, by simply placing their own men to head ‘officially‘ recognized churches, they could control Christianity’s growth. But they know better now.  First, because even their officially recognized churches keep growing by leaps and bounds.

And second, because some 45 to 60 million home churches dot multiple landscapes across this vast country. In wenzhou-church-story-top‘How China Plans to Wipe Out House Churches,’ Morning Star News reports officials devised a three-step plan “to eradicate unregistered house churches”:

First, China Aid says, persecutions of individual Christians increased some 42 percent in 2012: “At least 132 incidents of persecution affecting 4,919 Christians—442 of whom were clergy; 1,441 Christians were detained, 9 were sentenced, and 37 endured abuse and torture.

Second, unregistered house churches are now pressured to join the “official Three-Self Patriotic Movement (TSPM) church system,” at which time their meetings will be known as “house gatherings,” rather than “home churches.” The third phase, scheduled for 2015 through 2025, is to include government shut-down of house churches not affiliated with TSPM.

As Murong Xuecun writes in his New York Times Op-Ed piece, ‘China’s Clampdown on ‘Evil Cults’,’ this is a common fear of The Body of Christ among organized Communists:  “As a perceived “foreign” religion, Christianity makes the Chinese leadership particularly nervous.

“Christianity’s contribution to the end of Communist rule in Poland. A policy document published in September 2012 on the Religious Affairs Bureau’s website stated that unlawful religious groups are ‘threatening China’s national security’,” says Ye Xaowen, former head of the State Bureau of Religious Affairs.

Xaowen is correct.  Ask Rome!  Persecuted Christianity will ultimately destroy Chinese Communism, no matter how much Americans purchase products made in that country.  As Christian non-fiction prophecy books insist:  “And The LORD Thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee (Deuteronomy 30: 7).”

History, Oil, and Absence: What’s Really Behind Iraq’s Defeats

posted by Dr. Jael Ever @ 9:00 AM
June 17, 2014

European-Controlled-TerritoriesSome knowledge of history and economics is necessary to understand what is happening in Iraqi today. First, European nations––particularly France and Britain––without regard to tribal, cultural, and religious identifies of groups, divided and formed those areas seen as nations today.

‘Modern Period: The Rise of Colonial Interests in the Middle East’ by explains: “The notorious Sykes-Picot Treaty which was concluded between Britain and France in 1916 . . . designated France the protector of Arab Syria and Kurdish Mosul province, while Britain was designated the protector of Baghdad and Basra provinces.”

Before that time, Muslims did not see themselves as citizens in nations. ocw.nd continues: “Before the period of colonialism, there was no concept of a territorial state in the Muslim world. Muslims were conscious of ethnic, linguistic, and regional differences among themselves, but they saw themselves as politically united first under the Iraq-soldierscaliphate and then the later empires and sultanates.

“In a number of cases, some of these nation-states were created in an ad hoc and arbitrary manner to serve the interests of the colonizers: For example, British interests in Persian Gulf oil led to the creation of Kuwait.”

Second, up until this century, oil interests played decisive roles on who should rule these countries. Cambridge Archive Editions says gives background: “Between 1913 and 1923 the Rulers of the various sheikhdoms and states under signed undertakings not to grant oil concessions except to companies appointed by the British Government: the Ruler of Kuwait´s signature was obtained in 1913; the Ruler of Bahrain´s in 1914; the Ruler of Qatar´s in 1916; the Rulers of the Trucial Coast states´ in 1922 and the Sultan of Muscat and Oman´s in 1923.”

However, today such oil oversight is no longer necessary. For instance, as Forbes magazine points out, the United States is close to producing enough oil for itself that will last the rest of this century.  Also if the U.S. did need oil, it can purchase some from Canada or Venezuela––both of which have huge oil reserves.
Third, several things remain absent in current discussions about Iraq’s problems:  1) Part of what is happening in Iraq today results from the Arab Spring movement in recent years. These people want to rule themselves, whether they are divided by religion or any other way.  And the West cannot do it for them.

Where are France and Britain, and the rest of Western Europe, in these discussions? Why do all these nations––including Iraq which refused our help at the end of the war––expect the United States to be the ones to bail them out?

If these were the end of salient issues, logical discussions could ensue. But it is not the end, because ISIS and other Al Qaeda networks ultimately want to rule all the Arab states, Western Europe and the United States as well. These militant moves in Iraq, Syria, Ukraine and Africa are simply small steps towards WWIII.

What’s to be done then?  Christians must watch and pray. As Bible inspired writing insists:  “Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man (Luke 21: 36).”

Alleged Museum Killer Confirms Western Europe’s Fears About Syria

posted by Dr. Jael Ever @ 10:19 AM
June 12, 2014

Jewish-Museum-Belgium-killings    The alleged killer of three victims at a Jewish Museum in Belgium recently was arrested in France, and European police officials cringe at confirmation that he learned to hate and kill by joining the war in Syria, because so many other European Muslims now fight in that Civil War and will soon return ‘home’.

Arrested in the port city of Marseille, 29-year-old French citizen, Mehdi Nemmouche was found to have “in his possession a gun, a Kalashnikov assault rifle, and a video camera, used in the Brussels attack,” says His gun was wrapped in a sheet scrawled with the Islamic State of Iraq and indicating his membership the Levant, an extremist group fighting in Syria.

Gross reveals that the suspect visited Syria last year, apparently with links to Syrian jihadists. “Nemmouche was meant to have been under surveillance, according to intelligence sources, following his return from Syria, but as is the case with hundreds of other European jihadis returning from Syria, the surveillance is less than perfect.” He was arrested after boarding a bus coming from Amsterdam.

In ‘Suspect in Jewish Museum Killings Went to Syria,’ Angela Charlton and John-Thor Dahlburg from AP set forth: “Fears have been mounting in European countries that the hundreds of European radicals who are joining the fight in Syria against President Bashar Assad could stage attacks when they get home.”

The two also point out that Nemmouche has “a criminal record, with seven convictions for crimes like attempted france_jihad jpg size xxlarge letterboxrobbery––but nothing related to terrorism.”  Belgium prosecutor Frederic Van Leeuw told them: “The new elements in this investigation draw attention once more to the problem of the ‘returnees’—in other words the people going to Syria to participate in combat and return afterward to our country. All European countries are confronted with this problem.”

Illustrating the fears officials hold for European-born Muslims trained in Syria, writes:  “French anti-terror police have arrested six young men believed to have gone to Syria to fight with radical Islamist groups just two weeks after the government’s announcement of a new anti-jihadi plan.”

Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve posits:  “It’s a new demonstration of the government’s complete determination to do everything in its power to fight terrorism and the indoctrination of young people.”

Another AP reporter, Elaine Ganley, confirms in ‘Jewish Museum Killings Lay Bare Europe’s Fears of Returning Syrian Fighters,’ that “Between 1,000 and 1,500 Europeans may currently be fighting in Syria . . . France feels particularly vulnerable because it has the highest estimated number of youths heading to Syria or fighting there—about 700. Each one who returns represents a potential threat . . . and the challenge to track them all is huge.”

Citizens in Western Europe (and perhaps in the United States as well) struggle with identity. What is the language, racial and ethnic identity of Europeans? And how do Middle-eastern born Muslims fit that identity? If such group’s don’t fit, why are they so liberally imported and given citizenship?

Moreover in these days of border refugee crossings, millions of displaced persons, and deceivers who falsely accept new citizenships, the only safe identity is in Christ Jesus. As Christian mystery fiction argues: “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (2 Corinthians 5:17).”

Are EU and U.S. Blind to ‘Putin’s Right Wing’ Manipulations?

posted by Dr. Jael Ever @ 21:23 PM
June 9, 2014

Front-National        In one stroke of ‘mad genius,’ Russia’s Putin has managed to: 1) Shake up the European establishment through his support of dozens of winning extreme right wing candidates; 2) Further weaken the EU towards separation; 3) Dash the new Ukraine leader’s hope for EU partnerships; and 4) Left the United States alone in its quest to get Western Europeans to agree on more sanctions against Russia.

In short, as he has Europe’s Far Right idolizing him, Putin’s almost invisible strings moved the world closer to acknowledging that by annexing Crimea, and threatening a takeover of Eastern Ukraine, he has started World War III.

Seemingly oblivious of his motives, and hoping to secure stronger business interests, Western European leaders flock toward Putin. But from their usurpations under Russia during the Cold War, Eastern European nations cringe in fear at his manipulations. And looking past the apparent stupidity of their Western neighbors, they cry out to the United States for protection.

Several commentators point out that Russia directly financed the rise of the ‘new right’ in recent EU elections.  Right-Wing-Terror-risingEven Andrew Higgins, in The New York Times admits:  “Russia has added to its allure through the financing, mostly with corporate money, of media, research groups and other European organizations that promote Moscow’s take on the world.

“Even among far-right groups, the sympathy for Russia and suspicion of Washington are . . . Focused on clawing back power from the European Union’s bureaucracy, . . . at odds with policy makers in Brussels and the conventional wisdom of European elites.

But they also reflect a general crumbling of public trust in the beliefs and institutions that have dominated Europe since the end of World War II, including the Continent’s relationship with the United States.”

In his  discussion of ‘Putin’s Far-Right Admirers All Over Europe,’ Andrew Foxall points out: “Russia does not just gain from its propaganda being legitimized in European political institutions. It also furthers its geopolitical designs to destabilize Europe by seeing pro-Russian politicians and governments come to power on the Continent.”

Different kinds of wars––hot, cold, propaganda, spiritual, etc.––go on all over the world, but as First World War angels of The Lord teach, one must understand how the forces of evil work within each of these wars.

Far Right Western Europeans claim particular concerned about what they see as the moral decline in the United States. On the one hand, Satan tempts individuals and nations to revel in certain sins. On the other hand, he raises other people and nations to proudly criticize the revelers.

Only God’s people, faithfully praying for their nation, can turn around such temptations.  Christians should pray for their leaders, not because they agree with them politically, but because that prayer is the only force on earth that can reverse schemes of evil:  “For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way (2 Thessalonians 2: 7.)”

The major problem for false accusers is that pride is a greater sin: “Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall (Proverbs 16: 18).” Other sins can be repented of and forgiven, but ultimately, pride was Satan’s unforgivable sin and will be his downfall!

Cascading Water Problems: Symbols of Judgment on America?

posted by Dr. Jael Ever @ 11:00 AM
June 9, 2014

fluorideTap-water-Clean    Has anyone noticed that––with severe droughts in the West and Midwest, heavy rains in the Southeast, floods and hurricanes in the East––this nation seems to be ‘drowning’ in water problems? And that they appear to get worse each year?

In addition, parts of the country suffer everything from arsenic-poisoned drinking water, dirty polluted drinking water, expensive bottled water, battles about water between states, collapsing underground water viaducts, fracking, etc.

While some people try to harvest rain water, others beg for leadership. After touring ground-dry farms in central California, the U.S. President told Associated Press:  “We can’t think of this simply as a zero-sum game.

“It can’t just be a matter of there’s going to be less and less water so I’m going to grab more and more of a shrinking share of water. Instead what we have to do is all come together and figure out how we all are going to make sure that agricultural needs, urban needs, industrial needs, environmental and conservation concerns are all addressed.”

Alexander E.M. Hess and Thomas C. Frohlich write in: ‘7 States Running Out Of Water’: “In seven states drought conditions were so severe that each had more than half of its land area in severe drought. Severe drought is farmer-drought-conditionscharacterized by crop loss, frequent water shortages, and mandatory water use restrictions.”

U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) meteorologist Brad Rippey says the current drought has become a long-running issue: “This drought has dragged on for three and a half years in some areas, particularly in North Texas.”

Hess and Frohlich add: “The United States is currently engulfed in one of the worst droughts in recent memory. More than 30% of the country experiences at least moderate drought.”

They add that California has the nation’s worst drought problem with severe drought conditions covering the entire state. That area provides a huge source of America’s food. With such dry land, 500,000 farm workers are unemployed. Clearly America’s food supplies, as well as its prices, become affected as well.

24/7 Wall Street lists percentage of drought severity each state: Texas, 56.1%, Oklahoma, 64.5%, Arizona 76.3%, Kansas 80.8%, New Mexico 86.2%, Nevada 87.0%, and California 100%.

From the time of Israel’s Exodus from Egypt, Bible historical Books repeatedly illustrate that God’s judgments upon errant nations come in different and increasing levels of intensity (i.e. Exodus 9 to 15; Leviticus 26: 15 – 46).

Daniel’s prayers of repentance offer wisdom for these days. Although he had not committed these sins himself, Daniel made Israel’s sins his own: “We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from Thy precepts and from Thy judgments:

“Neither have we hearkened unto Thy servants the prophets, which spake in Thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land . . . O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for Thine own sake, O My God (Daniel 9).” Yes, this time Christians must pray!!!

U.N. Vote Forebodes Things to Come: Syria, Russia and China!, Pt. 2

posted by Dr. Jael Ever @ 10:25 AM
June 5, 2014

Syrian-War   One must understand that by aligning themselves with Syria in blocking the U.N. vote for criminal prosecution in the Hague, Russia and China emphatically state they condone Syria’s Hitler-type atrocities in this civil war.

That United Nation’s vote was based on irrefutable photographic evidence showing Syria’s “systematic killing of about 11,000 detainees, according to three eminent international lawyers,” according to Ian Black of

Yet, with such evidence, Vitaly Churkin, Russia’s UN ambassador, dismissed the vote as a mere “publicity stunt.” He told CNN News:  “The draft resolution rejected today reveals an attempt to use the ICC to further inflame the political passions and lay the groundwork for eventual outside military intervention.” He somehow convoluted the vote as a “policy aims at escalating the conflict.”

Black continues: “It was the fourth time Russia had blocked a security council resolution on Syria, consistent with its defense of President Bashar al-Assad and his government from serious pressure or censure.”

“Most of the victims were young men and many corpses were emaciated, bloodstained and bore signs of torture. Some had no eyes; others showed signs of strangulation or electrocution.” Sir Desmond de Silva QC, former chief prosecutor for Sierra Leone, claims the evidence “documented industrial-scale killing.”

To date, Syria’s war has resulted in the deaths of over 100,000 civilians, and displaced 2.5 million Syrian refugees.  To make matters worse, too many nations in western Europe and the Middle East vacillate about Syria’s behavior.

Reporting directly for the United Nations, Evan Schneider discloses: “Joint UN-League of Arab States Special Representative on the Syria crisis, Lakhdar Brahimi, resigned from his post after nearly two years of diplomatic efforts to bring about a political solution to the brutal civil war.”

When accepting the envoy’s resignation, the head of the U.N. acknowledged that the 80-year old Algerian diplomat Aleppohad faced almost impossible odds, “with a Syrian nation, Middle Easters region and wider international community that have been hopelessly divided in their approaches to ending the conflict.”

Nations, such as Russia, China, and North Korea, of course, do not want the war to end, because they––unlike leaders in the U.S. and Western Europe––indeed recognize that the world is now in Act One of the continuing World War III.

As advocates of this initial and continuing World War, leaders of such nations ultimately do not want an institution like the United Nations to exist at all. Aware that the institution’s very existence is threatened, U.N. deputy secretary general, Jan Eliasson, argues:  “If members of the Council continue to be unable to agree on a measure that could provide some accountability for the ongoing crimes, the credibility of this body and the entire organization will continue to suffer.”

Surely, First World War angels of The LORD continue to prove that such nations committing and upholding Syria’s horrors stay enthused by spiritual forces of evil: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6: 12).”

U.N. Vote Forebodes Things to Come: Syria, Russia and China!

posted by Dr. Jael Ever @ 9:00 AM
June 3, 2014

Kings-of-East-Missler       With eyes wide open the world watches as the most ultimate evil begins its work in three major nations. Last week Russia and China blocked a vote in the United Nations that would have brought Syria before the International Criminal Court (ICC) for violent torture and slaughter in Syria’s Civil War.

As Somini Sengupta of The New York Times exposits:  “Beheadings, torture, aerial bombardments of schools and hospitals: The war in Syria, raging for more than three years with no sign of relief, represents the very excesses of war that the International Criminal Court was designed to take on.

“Nevertheless, the court will not take on war crimes in Syria, not anytime soon anyway. China and Russia voted Thursday against a Security Council resolution that would have empowered the world tribunal to go after perpetrators of crimes against humanity in Syria.”

The world watched further while Syria’s president––using nerve gas, cluster bombs, and other deadly violence––murdered his own people without mercy. leaving the city of Homs in a heap of splintered rocks. And the world did nothing!

Once the world decides Syria has won its civil war, its ruler will then move to consolidate relationships with Turkey, Greece and Egypt, even if it will take wars to establish rule over them.  (Iran and Iraq will join willingly.) As Isaiah sets forth: “In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians (19: 23).”

Before the end, its present ruler, Bashar. will be replaced by the final despot, the most nefarious man who has ever lived, the anti-Christ.  Thus the silent world now watches Act One of the last drama on earth.

Satan’s last and most vicious ruler will arise out of Syria after The LORD Jesus calls all the Christians of this generation up to heaven with Him. God’s Holy Spirit will continue to offer salvation, but just as he will persecute and kill millions of Jews, the anti-Christ will slaughter those new Christians as well.

Syria’s two closest friends––Russia and China––did not want the world to hear testimony about evils already Map-Kings-of-the-Eastcommitted in that growing seat of evil, where hundreds of thousands have been slaughtered and millions more displaced

As the world marches towards the end of time, these three nations will always cover for one another as they advance their strategy toward World War III. Russia’s Putin has disabled Europe with his seizure of Crimea and continuing threats against Ukraine, as other former Eastern bloc nations feel his threats now.

And Europe––more concerned about its business interest now just as it was during World War II––watches in the same deadly silence as it did when Hitler took over Austria and Ethiopia, without their resistance.

Also preparing for these final wars, China spends billions to  build up its military, including ships, submarines, jets, man-power and space stations. Even now China’s neighbors in the Far East beg Japan and the U.S. for protection.

But again, Christian non-fiction prophecy books make clear that China will eventually defeat several of those nations in order to build a gigantic army that will march westward to join Syria, Russia and other countries for the final battle of Armageddon: “And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared (Revelation 16: 12).”
