Ancient Sex God Worshiped in Churches Today?

Book-of-Ezekiel    Reading through the Book of Ezekiel in preparation for our new on-line Bible School, I was struck by verses in Chapter 8 about the ancient sex-idol god Tammuz.  Images of this filthy god placed at the door of Israel’s temple provoked Almighty God to extreme anger, and brought unending judgment upon the people of Israel:

“And he put forth the form of an hand, and took me by a lock of mine head; and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward the north; where was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy. And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel was there, according to the vision that I saw in the plain.

“Then said he unto me, Son of man, lift up thine eyes now the way toward the north. So I lifted up mine eyes the way toward the north, and behold northward at the gate of the altar this image of jealousy in the entry.
He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations. . . . Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the LORD’S house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz. Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations than these. (8: 3–6, 14-15).”

According to Wikipedia, Tammuz was the Babylon god akin to the Greek god Adonis.  And Babylon (or today’s Iraq) was where most of Judah (what remained of Israel) had been carried into slavery, including the prophet who was taken there when in his late teens. Tammuz was the Hollywood-style sex symbol in his day.  “Beginning with the summer solstice [i.e. worship of seasonal changes) came a time of mourning in the Ancient Near East, as in the Aegean: the Babylonians marked the decline in daylight hours and the onset of killing summer heat and drought with a six-day “funeral” for the god. . . These mourning ceremonies were observed at the door of the Temple in Jerusalem in a vision the Israelite prophet Ezekiel was given, which serves as a Biblical prophecy which expresses the Lord’s message at His people’s apostate worship of idols:”

Further in the chapter, after God showed priest and other church officers worshiping animals and other aspects of nature, He led the prophet to this scene: “And He brought me into the inner court of The LORD’S house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of The LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshiped the sun toward the east. “Then He said unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke Me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose (8: 16 – 17).”

This sun worship was again, people going to God’s temple, not for spiritual nourishment through His Holy Spirit, but for feeding the natural man, or at least praying for that natural man’s continuous sustenance through things of nature.  Sadly, in too many churches in America today, the situation is still akin to “feeding” the natural man.

Consider unsaved men who openly confess that they only attend church so that they can meet and date “clean” women. These men say they have not confessed Christ as their Savior, nor do they intend to. Or further take a closer look at some women in pews handing seductive notes to male ushers asking if the men would be interested in a sexual relationship—and that often for money.  And what about unmarried pastors who are known to “date” several different women in the congregation??

Years ago, at a large crusade led by a famous American television evangelist, several officials claimed it was well known that prostitutes attended these campaigns in hopes of seducing male (and female) attendees to hotels for sexual romps.  Surely, the presence of God’s Holy Spirit should have been so strong as to cleanse out such foolishness.  The same can be said of these mammoth church services in the U.S. today.

Moreover, today “Hollywood Christians” and decadent fashion designers—through television, the internet and personal appearances—influence Christian women to dress for Sexual Effects, not for Christian modesty.  Thus, so much in the U.S. Christian world today posits to feed the ‘natural’ man and woman rather than their spiritual “born again” persons.

As it says in wholesale Christian Bibles – In Romans, chapter 7, Apostle Paul writes about the struggle that Christians have in fighting against roman-chapter-7the “natural” man.  He makes clear here that the natural man can only lead to death.  At the end, he cries out: “O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin (7: 24 – 25).”

God’s fury over the sexual deviousness of Tammuz and sun worship—i.e. worship in and of the natural man—could only be assuaged by judgment.  In Ezekiel, chapter 9, following the revelations about Tammuz and sun worship, Our Holy God commanded: “He cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand. And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer’s inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brasen altar. And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer’s inkhorn by his side;

“And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.

“And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity: “Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at My sanctuary.” Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.

“And he said unto them, Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain: go ye forth. And they went forth, and slew in the city. And it came to pass, while they were slaying them, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel in thy pouring out of thy fury upon Jerusalem? (9: 1 – 8)”

So true believers must decide today whether to be natural men to be slain in God’s soon and pending judgment, or intercessors who will now cry out for God to save our churches and our nation!

Feeling Sucked into Christian Fiction Novels

posted by WiseBooks @ 18:21 PM

1 christian fiction novelI really enjoy reading books that have a bit of truth to them, but are still fiction. Things like historical fiction really interest me, as well as things that will happen in the future based on facts. For example, when the antichrist comes to Earth, I like reading about how the world will react. This is the central theme of a book I just read recently, and it was a good read.

The book, called The Mark: The Beast Rules the World, is one of the Left Behind books. It’s a series of Christian fiction novels that are based on events that will happen in the future, according to the Bible. I think it’s a gripping read, as it’s about the antichrist seizing control of most of the world. It’s a book that really sucks you in and makes you think.

Although it’s fiction, I can’t help but be pulled into it like I’m there in the story. I think it’s a book that everyone should read that enjoys Christian fiction as much as me. This book could very well be a good predictor of what will happen in the future. I’m so glad I was able to find this book and read it for myself.

What Sacrifices Have You Made for Jesus?

posted by Dr. Jael Ever @ 7:00 AM
August 11, 2016

jesus suffersSoooo.  Were you beaten 39 times with tremendously heavy whips laced with small rocks, sharp glass bits, and metal strips so that your back would be ripped to pieces?  Or were you forced to vacate your position as one of twelve Apostles because huge men working for a wicked king sliced your neck off with a sword, so that by the end of The Book of Acts only eleven of the original Apostles remained alive on earth to this day and age?

Or has your testimony of faith in The LORD Jesus Christ so enraged the rulers in charge that they based you alone on a rocky island surrounded by sharks, wild land animals and wind-driven storms? Well these are the prices that Apostles Paul, James (the brother of John) and John suffered to advance the Gospel of The LORD Jesus Christ!

The ‘Voices of Martyrs’ ministries quotes similar accounts of:  pastors in China who may have escaped government-set fires to burn their churches to the ground while the congregations were still in them (and yes some evil people burn churches in your country too, but seldom with people inside of them, but such acts could come to you hometown very soon); or, as that ‘Voice’ so faithfully reports, what about other pastors and church workers imprisoned for years because they openly preached the Gospel in heathen countries where such messages are punishable by long-term penalties or even death.

And what about believers in Eastern Europe, Indonesia and Northern Africa brave enough to go to church Easter Sunday mornings who are sometimes met with machine gun bullets as they leave services, dying as they hold Easter flowers or Palm Sunday leaves in their bloody hands?  Even more recently, what about the priest holding mass for a small congregation when two Muslim extremists broke in and slit his throat off.  All of these things are heralded on the news, while you are still free to come and go to church in safety?

Sooooo, with all of this “freedom” you still have left, what are you doing for The LORD Jesus Christ? Are Matthew-25-31-46you personally giving money, food, shelter and clothes directly to the poor in or near your neighborhood as the LORD commands in Matthew 25: 31 – 46 of wholesale Christian Bibles? Do you give over and above your tithes to organizations, such as Worship Center Radio, which have unique capabilities to reach people in heathen countries across the world through internet radio—and that more than the measly dollar they ask for?  Or have you purchased hundreds of Christian tracts from ministries such as and handed them out to people on downtown street corners?

“Oh no” you say, such outreaches are too personal and disquieting for you.  Then let me recommend today’s blog on  It is based on The LORD’s warning in Revelation, chapter 3: “And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.

“So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

“I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eye salve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent (14 – 19).”

Thus as you do not involve yourself in personal extra-service for the one you claim to be Your LORD and Master, how do you define your status in The Body of Christ?  Do you consider yourself “hot” or “cold”? Or do you quake in fear, waiting for the “upchuck” soon to come?  Soooo . . . Lift off your rumpus! Get busy and go to work for Jesus.  Our time is soon running out!!

The Crucible Was A Great Read For My Brother

posted by WiseBooks @ 15:52 PM

The CrucibleI heard about The Crucible and had been looking forward to reading it for a long time. My brother read it not that long ago and he thought that is was a very interesting read. He enjoyed all of the wisdom that he got out of it and the themes that were in the book as well. The book is about what it truly means to be Christian and to be a believer.

Reading this book was life-changing for my brother. He really enjoyed it and it was great for him. He has been really into reading Christian books lately and he has gotten me into them as well. These books always offer lots of wisdom for all of life’s tough situations. I think that this book would have a lot to offer me as well.

I am excited to read The Crucible and to get as much out of it as my brother did. A lot of people consider themselves to be Christians but they really are not. They go on living their lives as if they didn’t believe. This book talks about that and touches on that subject a lot, which is why I am very excited to read it and get a lot out of it.

Waste on the ‘Space Science’ of ‘Astronomy’s ‘Astrology’

posted by Dr. Jael Ever @ 12:06 PM
August 2, 2016

astrology+horoscope+wheel    If astronomy is a complete waste of government money, how does its forerunner and constant associate, astrology, waste the individual’s money?  How many church-going “Christians” who claim to be “Bible” believers consult their local and other astrologists, those ‘star’ topics in daily newspapers, or their astrological “dream” and “number defining” books, before buying lottery tickets, betting on horses, or rolling the tables at local and travel-to casinos.

Astrology is of course supposedly based on “luck” or happenstance and too many confessing Christians are unaware that “luck”, “lucy” or “luc” is actually taken from Lucifer: Satan, the god of the love of money.

Yet these same clueless gamblers go to church on Sunday—putting the few dimes they have left in offering plates because they have spent their paychecks on weekend parties and have gambled away since their Thursday/Friday paychecks.  No wonder Satan feels free to establish his church openly in cities and churches made spiritually and materially poor by casino gambling.

Thus, both astronomy and astrology merge as money wasters and society breakers.  In fact, for thousands of years these two “sciences” were actually one, until about 300 years ago when the two were considered separate.  Maria Temming of writes in ‘Astrology and Astronomy: What Is The Difference’: “Though the practices of astrology and astronomy have common roots, there is an important distinction in astrology vs astronomy today. Astronomy is the study of the universe and its contents outside of Earth’s atmosphere. Astronomers examine the positions, motions, and properties of celestial objects.

“Astrology attempts to study how those positions, motions, and properties affect people and events on Earth. For several millennia, the desire to improve astrological predictions was one of the main motivations for astronomical observations and theories. Astrology continued to be part of mainstream science until the late 1600s, when Isaac Newton demonstrated some of the physical processes by which celestial bodies affect each other.”

The Bible makes clear that church members and church leaders have tried to compromise their faith by meddling in astrology.  Ezekiel points to priests and temple workers worshiping the sun god behind closed doors: “And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD’S house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshiped the sun toward the east.

“Then he said unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose. Therefore will I also deal in fury: mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them (8: 16-18).”

Israel was freed from such psychological slavery when God delivered them from Egypt.  But they kept returning to it, just like cleansed pigs return to their slop. As Isaiah says: “Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee.

“Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: there shall not be a coal to warm at, nor fire to sit before it. Thus shall they be unto thee with whom thou hast labored, even thy merchants, from thy youth: they shall wander every one to his quarter; none shall save thee (47: 13 – 15).”

Daniel and his three friends fought against this foolishness during all of their captivity in Babylon (Iraq).  They so befuddled so-called ‘scientific wise men’, that those—who in actuality were just veiled Satanic followers just as they are today—star gazers set up the believers’ trials in the fiery furnace and the lion’s den.

New Testament ministers preached against these evils as well. As he faced killer stones from guilty sky-idol worshipers, mighty believer Stephen cried:“This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear.

“This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sinai, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us: To whom our fathers would not obey, but thrust him from them, and in their hearts turned back again into Egypt, Saying unto Aaron, Make us gods to go before us: for as for this Moses, which brought us out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.

“And they made a calf in those days, and offered sacrifice unto the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands. Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness?  Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon (Acts 7: 37 – 43).”

Born-again Christians must stop this foolishness of both Astrology and Astronomy.  Both are based Satanic-Astrologyon witchcraft and Satan worship. Eternal Salvation is only promised to those who continue in the faith.  Don’t be like those fools in the Old Testament, who were miraculously saved from Egypt and, because times got a little tough, they impatiently returned to practicing Egyptian sins.

As Apostle John explains in wholesale Christian Bibles: “Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father (1 John 2: 24).
