In spite of the archeological evidence the History Channel presents in its attempts to grasps facts about alien beings visiting earth in ages past, works by those spokespersons, and other prominent scholars, are often summarily dismissed.

Again––rather than to accept possibilities of truth––much of such criticism again seems geared toward obscuring truth.  This criticism often accuses those who write about alien visitors of attempting to turn myth into truth, of mistranslating ancient texts, and of skewed interpretations of astrological science.

Scholars providing background to the History Channel’s “Ancient Aliens” series are often criticized as “pseudo-scientists,”pseudo-historians,” or frauds. These scholars include famed archeologist Erich von Daniken, author of “Chariots of the Gods,” and dozens of other books.
Much of the work presented on the series also coincides with research by Zecharia Sitchin and Immanuel Velikovsky.  In his “Earth Chronicles,” Sitchin presented his “evidence” that the Anunnaki is an extra-terrestrial race had come to earth to mine gold.  And in his books, Velikovsky uses comparative mythology to argue that aliens have attacked earth several times in the ancient past.

However, just as Hollywood film turns ‘fact’ into fiction, such criticism ignores the factual evidence in archeological art.  If aliens have not visited earth, they why do primitive artifacts reveal aliens dressed in what appears to be space suits, and why are these beings often situated in what seems to be space ships.

Moreover, much of the evidence presented by scholars under scrutiny because they speak out about alien enemy visitations to earth, is taken from the Bible.  Genesis, chapter 6, gives accounts of extra-terrestrial supernatural beings that came to earth and mated with human women to create giants.
We have written on this blog before about the war between God and Satan when a third of the angels––powerful supernatural beings––rebelled against God and were kicked out of heaven because they had invaded earth and set themselves up as gods as shown in Genesis 1: 1 – 2.  They reestablished their rule––initiating mankind’s tendency toward sin and rebellion––through the fall of Adam and Eve.

While all of those rebels operate in or near earth, some of them mated with human females and produced giant semi-human beings. From the books of Joshua to 2 Samuel, the nation of Israel often battles with these giants.  Not only did the shepherd boy David kill the giant, Goliath, he became “a man after God’s own heart” when he and his men killed the last of the giants on earth (2 Samuel 23).

This rebellion and its affects are also seen in Jeremiah 4, Isaiah 14, and in Luke 10: 18 when The LORD Jesus said, “I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.”  Anti-Christian nonfiction often indicates its a mistake to ignore God’s Word.
